Alif A. F. 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2015 Perhaps T2 not large enough to accommodate A330?
Eddy Liew 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2015 (edited) Perhaps T2 not large enough to accommodate A330? Perhaps. I think T2 has 7 bays for A320. Not sure how many for A330 if there are a few A320 already definitely not enough parking. They must have informed the passengers that they will be reaching at T1? Imagine the confusion of friends/families picking the passengers of that flight. What? T1? Really? Sure? You flying AirAsia or not? I didn't have the thought that AirAsia can upgrade their flights from A320 to A330 for KUL-BKI leg, like what MAS can do during peak demand. Must be some special reason and a one off??? Samuel Chy 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2015 T2 probably does not have the stairs needed to board an A330. indeed. T2 does not have any Ground Support Units for a 330. plus we did notice they Transport some luggage and cargo from T2 to T1 by using the small tow truck along the perimeter. but question is, how about the passengers? it still a myth. Alif A. F. 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2015 Today's MH2604 weather related diversion (which happens to several flights over several times in a year) got into major news outlets. Why is it even in the news?
Andi C 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2015 (edited) Some pics of D7's ops at T1 on 01/01/15 Notice the time on FIDS is already 11:41 but D7 5109 ETD stated as 11:15 with status still at 'Boarding' Glimps of the A330 from the coach parking area Edited January 2, 2015 by Andi C
Waiping 12 Report post Posted January 2, 2015 Yup, wonder if the delay was within expectation as original turn-around was supposed to be 1 hour but departed almost 1/2 hour late. I didn't check if the subsequent flight by XXS was delayed though.

Eddy Liew 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2015 (edited) Yup, the BKI <-> ICN route was transferred from its parent company Korean Air on the 22/12/14. Doing what SQ does I guess. Edited January 7, 2015 by Eddy Liew
Mohd Firdaus Bolong 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2015 PK-OCT is in town apparently. Indonesia's AirFast MD82. Anybody near WBKK?
Eddy Liew 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2015 (edited) PK-OCT is making a move soon. My database however shows it is PK-LIW B734. FR24 is also showing it as a MD82, but funny enough the picture is a Lion Air B739. Anyone has a visual of this? Edited January 10, 2015 by Eddy Liew
