Cire 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2013 I think Malaysia should look closer in-shore than the sputters of islands in disputes. We need to ensure our shores are safe before we could venture out to tackle a more mamoth-ian task such as tussling with the Chinese or Japanese. Once our territorial waters and shores are secured, than we can start to build up our sea armada to barge in and hoist our flag on a piece of coral. I wondered if any of the exhibitors have offered to our Government some solutions to the tacky situation in Lahad Datu. It would be a great sales' platform indeed. Muhammad Othman 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2013 I know some USM researchers who are developing a UAV Drone- from scratch. It can be used to protect our borders, just like what the US Customs and Border Protection use. Sadly, USM management don't want to spend more money for their research. It's very potential though, the way I see it. They have a very skilled team. The only solutions to our very porous border.
