Norman 1 Report post Posted May 16, 2006 Had another half-hour session this morning (16/5/06) Sky was dark on the western side rain just ceased over KLIA Was waiting for this flight from Dhaka, a friend on board coming back from Mecca... a darksider too.. Unfortunately (fortunately for me )... BG was delayed.. Sched @ 0550, arrived 0940... I was really hoping for DC10... but seems DC10 was from Jeddah-Dhaka only So giving him sometimes to clear CIQ, I stayed on 32L and just capture everything that fly over the approach lights... MikeMikeFoxtrot... thinning out paint.. AlphaAlphaXray AlphaEchoBravo MikeQuebecNovember and lastly MikeMalaysianWings actually there was another MH... but missed the focus and exposure.. Thanks for watching...

Norman 1 Report post Posted May 17, 2006 Pieter... thanks bro... glad you like it Adrian... MikeFoxtrot maybe one of the 73 that's leaving? Pak Brahim... thanks Idham... you in SZB now?... drop by KLIA over weekend laa... spot together Raj... thanks bro. The clouds do changed over the half-hour I was there. Furthermore, I did changed my WB from one arrivals to the other, trying to get the correct colours, and also I changed my metering modes from matrix to centre to spot, just to get the correct metering because of the dark back ground and the "small" aircraft were illuminated by the morning sun Kevin... I went to the airport in heavy rain in my area, but KLIA was sunny with darkcloud on western sky.. Thanks again guys for the kind words...

Norman 1 Report post Posted May 18, 2006 Baaahhhhh, Norman, this is really my preferred shot: nice light on the 737 and dark skies in the rear: just awesome Pieter... here'a another one of the dark skies with "dirty" MikeFoxtrot... For info... I sent this to Jetphotos.... the reply Photo ID 938925 was rejected from the database. Airline: Malaysia Airlines Aircraft: Boeing 737-4H6 Registration: 9M-MMF Reason(s) for Rejection: - Too Much Noise - Bad (Over/Under) Contrast Guessed MikeFoxtrot is not "dirty"... just too much noise And it's not acceptable to shoot aircraft in bright sunlight with dark thunderstorm background.. And no... I don't normally appeal..
Imran K. 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2006 Forget them... If KepakMalaysia.com accepted it...it's the best!
