Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted February 26, 2010 Oh,really? That's mean AF is flying both to HAN and SGN? Out of BKK, AF is operating DAILY to Viet Nam, alternately to HAN (3x a week) and SGN (4x a week)...in fact, they've constantly excellent fare-deals out of Thailand to both cities (to fill-up the empty seats left ex BKK); this, ofcourse, also from Viet Nam to BKK...you cannot go wrong by flying wide-body equipment for a slightly higher price than AK

Nguyen Vu Loc 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2010 Kian Hong, Chaity, many thanks for your encouragement. I always appreciate the quality of your photos on A.net and envy your more favorable conditions to spot. Here is a pic of the A320 AK "1st airbus to Kota Kinabalu" 9M-AHG with the B734 MH, 9M-MMK in the background. Both airlines fiercely compete at SGN, especially in the afternoon. The aircraft arrive and depart back to KL abt. 5mn apart.
Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted March 14, 2010 Uncle, Last shot of AK/MH looks VERY familiar: guess I was less than 10 meters behind you, when you took it, right ? (can still remember Kanehoshi's shout of joy when he took F-GITH in new colours )
flee 5 Report post Posted March 15, 2010 Kian Hong, Chaity, many thanks for your encouragement. I always appreciate the quality of your photos on A.net and envy your more favorable conditions to spot. You are just being modest, uncle Vu Loc - you are a very accomplished photographer yourself! We have a great deal of quality pix here. Right now the weather is also challenging in KUL, thunderstorms almost every afternoon. I guess that is part and parcel of the "job"! Keep up the coverage from Vietnam - you have some unique and highly interesting traffic too.
