:yahoo: That's a real nice livery on VN-A351 !!! :drinks:

Must have missed it by just a few weeks, while at SGN... :(

Great pictures, as usual, Tuan Khiem; I, especially, like the runway 25L shot (with the ATR just airborne and 777 waiting), as well as the cockpit-shot :good:

Hope, you'll keep on sharing the beautiful pictures from Viet Nam... :pardon:

Sure I'll keep Vietnam pictures up here, sharing something special from us. Thanks Pieter encourage me in uploading. Hope to see you soon, of course, in VVNB. Cause I'll soon to move my business to Ha Noi this year.

Continue with my trip from Hochiminh to Hanoi in August.

The weather was not good while receiving ATIS, airport closed. The crew decided to divert to Vinh airport (near HUE, in the Middle)

However, Wx improved when we approached Noi Bai airport, landing runway 11R

Tuan Khiem,

Mai and I will be going up North in February 2010, so hope to see you again there... ;)

Nice cockpit-pictures; weather-radar looks 'worrying' indeed...

Surprisingly, runway/approach shot on 11R show fine/clear weather with dry runway

Hi Pieter, I'm awaiting your pics from SGN. I'll be in KL from 18-24 Oct then back to SGN via SIN, could you and our KL friends advise an air force museum?

Anyone familiar with Hanoi? Will arrive on the 8th 5 hours ahead of the rest of the tour group. Plan on going to the hotel and explore before going back to Airport to meet up with the rest of the tour group.

Any help is appreciated.

You can go to 2nd Floor on the left side of terminal ( http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=6381165&nseq=13 ). Very good location for spotting.

Tuan Khiem,

Indeed very rare, as AN74-300 has engines UNDERWING and not ON TOP of wings, like other AN74's...

Good to hear, Finnair and Novair to come to SGN this winter: something to look forward to in February, when we'll be back !!! :yahoo:

No side-views of the AN74 ?
