Hi all,

Thanks to MIR for updating me regarding the Perdana One visit to AOR.

Neither M53-01, nor 9M-NAA, here we have M48-02 flying as Perdana One. I'm on the tower bringing in special coverage for MWing. :-)

Very sexy lady first officer on the radio..vacating runway via Juliet. :air_kiss:

Crowds were on the apron way before firefly landing, one hour before Perdana One. They bring in loose objects, banner, flags, caps, etc...does not even realize all of those are FODs !!!

There is the star of the day...

TA, AOR only busy during morning hours. After 12, dead...

Ameq, yes, they only send in on alternate basis. not sure when will be permanent. :sorry:

I am very excited when pilot report the registration as niner mike mike xray echo over the radio 25miles prior touchdown...

Pieter, yes, nice take off, if you look hard enough, you'll see a pickup-truck on the other side of runway near the tail.

I wish I i'm on that vehicle...hehe....

Hi guys...

An update to this thread.

Go for spotting Monday morning... and afternoon... :)

Ak send in normal livery, during heavy fog, and still can give the sexy blink to me...

img7050c.jpg

I dunno what airliners this is, but it definitely a dugong A380...

img7057v.jpg

AK taking off, still in heavy fog.

img7063a.jpg

After a while, MH1202 reporting in 30miles DME Victor Alpha Siera, transfered from Butterworth Approach.

and, pilots reports POB, Fuel Remaining, & registration. I was quite disappointed because it was not -800.... :(

after 12mins, here she is, touchdown...

img7079.jpg

Not satisfy by morning flight, I was there again in super heated afternoon sun...waiting for -800...

and my wait was worth it...it is the latest in MH fleet...niner mike mike xray foxtrot...hahaha...

Firefly coming in 20mins after the MH

img7135x.jpg

I wait for head to head shot, but cannot get it, she rotates early below fence line..

Idham,

Love your shots bro. Thank you. That aircraft could be a 74SP of Iran Air.

It really look like a 747SP Iran Air..

Ameq, i just spotting outside the fence perimeter, I only got 70-200mm lens, taman lumba kuda is too far for me. :)

you can refer below picture:

newpicture1zw.png

- all red color road only access by motorbike.

- yellow circle is morning spot

- blue circle is afternoon spot

- black line is the actual runway

- star mark is control tower, of course you need special access lah, like me...hehe...

- suitable lens, 70-200mm
