If 350 is deemed to big for any airline, they might as well just dont operate any wide body after all. I can understand they struggle to put bums on 380, but 350? Come on. Work harder please. And this 8 airframes plus another 6 on the 350 does not make sense at all. Why dont they just get anothet 8 350? Talking about costs? Running an airline with 3 different types on widebody fleet? 330 and 350 cant CCQ ya..

My vote for Barisan if they can pull this one. #respectmyPM

They were doing the training in Singapore when they got the email. Also this is not the first time OD make fun of male flight attendant wannabe. Only this time it's too much. Already in the training and terminated suddenly. Excuse given, A330 not coming. Male CC cant work on 737 ka? No accountability, no respect towards other people's feeling. Again, fish stinks from the head.

AirAsia, MAHB quarrel over airport expansion strategy
Amirul Mazlan replied to flee's topic in General Aviation
Its all about charges only. We've all known Tony for too long. If only MAHB and government can turn back the time and build bigger cowshed for AirAsia instead of lousy KLIA2. Single storey for departure and arrival. If thats what he really wants. It works for LCCT. Despite long walks it does not deter people from flying with AirAsia. -

Singapore Plans to Build Terminal 4 at Changi
Amirul Mazlan replied to Jonathan Kong's topic in General Aviation
I'm sure if we forward our suggestion perhaps 99% probability it will fall to blind eyes and deaf ears. Sure there are people in MAHB who shares our enthusiasm of beautifully built, user friendly, cutting edge and within budget terminal. But those may not be the decision maker. KLIA2 not only functionally fcuked up, its hell expensive as well. Alas, its built, and its gonna be there for at least 30 years. I really wish they dont screw up the next satellite terminal and MTB extension. We can learn A LOT from Changi over the years but we didnt. -
No need new AOC. Just change the brand. Callsign, icao and iata codes still maintain.

Why cant we have something classy like this? -
738 flies further than 739. True, OD 739 rated at 26k thrust while 738 at 24k. Fuel tank capacity is exactly the same. The only advantage for 739 is that it can take more load for flights that is not range critical. OD's furthest scheduled destination which is LHE can be both covered by 738 and 739. I believe world's longest scheduled flight for 738/739 is flydubai's DXB-BKK or Norwegian's. Plus, contrary to popular's belief ER does not stand for extended range.

Honolulu, Harbin among 5 new destinations for Scoot
Amirul Mazlan replied to alberttky's topic in General Aviation
You cant satisfy everyone, and everything. If no one wants to give up something we wont have Subang and KLIA because moving airports out of Sungai Besi would cause too much inconveniences for those who bought houses and settled in KL. Spreading major transport development especially airports out of the city brought a lot of economic benefits. We dont want to be Manila do we? Just because it causes inconveniences to some. Crew fatigue is real threat. I agree. But something's gotta give. If they dont wanna let the conveniences of having creature comfort by living close to the city/in the city, thats their choice. And the same applies to those living in Nilai/Sepang. I'm a crew, i lived in Nilai. And i hate spending too much time on the road. Nilai is not that bad, or maybe i'm just cheap. -
18 biz seats for the 330. Not sure bout the seat count for economy

Thats why i hate flying into China. Flow control is one thing, it's so jurassic in these days. Too egoistic military mentality coupled with boom in commercial aviation. They just cant move on with times, in terms of freeing up airspace for civil control and use.

The issue is easy. Money. You are not willing to pay more money, with the current going rate, you lose pilots. Supply and demand. You are not willing to pay for sim slots because u think all can be covered in Jakarta, and not willing to buy own sim, you cant control your training planning. And the head dont even bother to communicate with staff, not even a simple hari raya greeting. Staff already sacrificed a lot, taking a lot of brunt from disgruntled passengers. One guy in the office need to stop calling people 'monkey', 'bloody fool', 'bodoh' etc. and look at himself in the mirror. Monkey see monkey do, and monkey fcuked up big time, but this is not the first time its happening. Pak Rusdi really need to change his man helming this company. Take someone who engage with staffs, not some fools.

You're right. They stopped fresh CPL holder from joining direct on the 737 since last quarter of 2016. Last time i think i saw those 9xxx callsign being used on 737 endorsement flight
