Pilots can only work 900 hours per 12 months so that equates of 75 hours per month. Anything above 75 this month means you gotta work less in some other month. When pilots fly consistently above 80 hours every month his limit of 900 hours of 12 consecutive months used up very quickly. Fatigue/tiredness is subjective and differs from people to people. Some can take 100 hrs/month and still feel super, some complains past 50 hrs but basic rights/hard limitations has to be observed by pilots/operator. People leaving because of better offer but most of them went just next door.

better to try to change rather than staying with known crooks whos been stealing for decades

AirAsia can easily absorb these routes because their cost structure is very low and they have economics of scale. May or may not be profitable but whats better than being a monopoly when your competitors are not even interested

If anyone follow PB on his instagram he did thanked Izham for being by his and CMs side during initial period of the turnaround. If PB get to nominate his successfor it will be Izham. But of course board and PB now on different page. His opinion might not be considered because i think people are pissed of how thing unfold. -
Did anyone say James Hogan? Wonder what good has ever happened at Ansett, Gulf Air and look at Etihad now?

MAS A380 - Fleet to be Retained
Amirul Mazlan replied to Mohd Azizul Ramli's topic in General Aviation
They managed to keep the A380 clean all this while and why it only gets dirty now? I was in LHR two weeks ago and first impression i heard from guy who was behind me was like, thats filthy looking plane -
Perhaps he is the best guy since Idris Jala, the kinda guy who gave hope to Malaysians that he can turn this around. Poor us. I really like how he interract in social media on his Instagram. Hes really engaging with public and staffs alike. Wish you all the best Peter. Hopefully wont take long for Governent to find a new guy who can be as good as him.

Dont think Etihad wanna do another try at investing in a troubled carrier. Alitalia and AirBerlin almost pulled them together into bankcruptcy graveyard. And they still need to deal with Jet Airways and Virgin Australia. My take will be one of the Chinese carrier or IAG.

Did some basic math comparing fully loaded 77W and fully loaded dugong on a same 7 hours 30 minutes trip. Dugong edged 77W slightly on fuel efficiency per seat. But of course, when adding cabin crew factor and overflight and landing charges, it wiped out all the fuel savings. And that is if they can fill up the entire plane. And no, i have no idea about yield, leasing cost etc.

These 330s are good deal for money that they dont have. At least make better business decision instead of those puny orders of 787. Falling rates, instand availability and commonality makes it a no brainer. Good for MH and PB for managing to hold on and secure these aircrafts. Lets see how jinx Najib is when it comes to new aircraft orders. FlyMojo with their CS was nothing more than hot air, nada. Nothing happens. Highly likely with recent 787 LOI. But having said this ill be more than happy to be proven wrong in 2019.

MAB Proposed 25 New Widebody Aircraft Purchase in 2017
Amirul Mazlan replied to flee's topic in General Aviation
Your argument is right jahur but its not justified with only 8 78-9 and 6 A359?? They've gotta run a bigger WB operation to make this work. For now having 14 A359 seems much cost effective than having two difference competing type of aircraft -
No chance Malindo will get these painted aircrafts. flight crew training stops around two weeks ago. All will go to Thai Lion

To order 8 pieces of this composite plane and after that straight to Europe to look for better deal on used 330s and Neos just doesnt add up. Dont talk about fleet flexibility, Malaysia Airlines cant afford it yet. They are not in the same league as SQ KL or AF or anyone for God's sake. It will only look right if they decided 15 789 for 330 replacements but thats not what PB is looking for. He's looking for more buses.
