  1. On December 18, MAB has been awarded air traffic right from KUL to DPS +7 weekly, BKK +4 weekly, NKG +1 weekly and SYX 2x weekly. All will commence on Mar 19. So, DPS is the first one to go official.
  2. And of course to stand up or on par with upcoming SIA narrowbody fleet from the Silk Air merging.
  3. I was weird that KK is booming with Korean air carrier for Seoul route but MH didnt serve the route even as a charter.
  4. Airasia to set up Airasia Engineering Complex at vacant area next to CAE. Nakano Construction Sdn Bhd who responsible for Mitsui Phase 2 construction is in charge for this project. But I cant see or find any plan/photo for this project.
  5. So, MH said they already received its sixth A330-200 which to be 9M-MTY but the appearance is yet to be seen. Secondly, they shifted delivery of B737 MAX 8 from supposely late quarter of 2019 to 2020.
  6. MH should have different configuration of aircraft type for fleet flexibility where market demanding change such as more J class/no F class and vice versa. It's kind of waste when the hard products are there but not fully utilised. the best example is JL which have same turnaround scenario, their B767, B787 has 3 configs.
  7. HKG served by A333 with exception on night flight (B737). Sometimes you can get A332, A359 & A380
  8. Illogical move. Maybe want to build the world longest taxiway in the world?? FAL still need airport services though such as ATC and taxiway to conduct tests. Western side of KLIA2 is better option if they want to build FAL which should has its own taxiway shared with current runway R33-15. Besides, southern area of KLIA2 can be build up for MRO and support zone. I think as for starter, early production is at low rate and manageable. At that time when production is rising, independent runway for FAL at more western side near to Tanjong Sepat can be build.
  9. MH A330-200 9M-MTZ ' Negaraku ' cs livery arrived KUL today from AMM
  10. Two aircrafts got delivered today (29 June 2018) Malaysia Airlines A330-223 9M-MTW CRK-KUL Airasia A320-251N 9M-FAB TSN-KUL
  11. Latest delivered metal A332 -MTX also has 1M decal being removed.
  12. I love to see B787 for MAB but Airbus already pitches for 251t A330neo. it should be the right candidate for A330 replacement. Longer range, common commonality with current A350XWB, less costs. Should be enough for MAB medium-to-long range network. Hope for no political interference after this (hope so)
  13. MAB already opens vacancies for Non-Malaysian first officer and Captain position
  14. Btw, Project Amal is coming soon, only 4 of them are being used and other 2 will be retain at MAB fleet.
  15. Im pretty sure that the video is showing the A333, not A332. Check the fuselage length.
  16. Logo light on in the daylight
  17. Due to incident happened when A330 AOG at Alice Springs, all a330 including freighter need to do engine inspection. That is why you will see numbers of a330 on ground.
  18. Does MAB Satellite Golden Lounge already finished the refurbishment? Any photos of it will be great.
