  4. It happened during taxi. It has the same core engine as F50, just that with few some electronics and components.

  6. It has to come to szb for acceptance check, mandatory modification and inspection by DCA before flying back to bki.
  7. And always have problem with their In Flight Entertainment system.
  8. MH A380 1st class seat, 1 only, is in szb for training purposes. It's a single person cubicle with 22 or 24 inch LCD with HD recorder on it.
  9. The 732 lost its main gear and found somewhere in subang jaya. It was right main and it was after landing gear change at jhr.
  10. 3 will be coming, 2 at KUL for check, 1 at SZB.
  11. Most european aircrafts are like that, same goes with airbus, good in operating but reliability is in questions. That's why it's cheap.

  15. Firefly atr, 1st week ops already grounded, within a month, there were already few grounded including fyb. It's super fragile aircraft.

  18. I've seen before jumbo taking off in very short distance at szb for test flight and delivery flight.
  19. FYA now grounded also due to engine defect, awaiting for spares, MGD now has been converted into maswings colour, MGI and MGK will be sold to new owner by the end of the year, maswings f50 will end its f50 fleet at 2013.
  20. the engine maybe not suitable with monsoon season kua, mgi now on standby, so now only left fya, fyb and mgk in ops. beside engine, there are few more problems, but everything under warranty, no problem.
  21. Both 10 10, FYA-FYJ and MWA-MWJ, nose wheel hub about 6 in, super light, changing atr wheel is problematic compared with f50, there few access panel underneath the belly, person has to lie down on the floor to open it, yup the tail prop is located inside the compartment right underneath FDR.
  22. Yup, it's the viking air, you can surf their website. Both props still intake and seems no twist or bend, yet no casualties, memerang kembar really robust.

Hahaha, I also have no idea of this ATR water landing, the emergency hatch door in the cockpit was used as gps antenna during delievery flight, then they replaced it with normal hatch, was due to the cockpit has no sliding windows like 747, so they require that hatch door, for the cabin emergency hatch, that's the worse, unlike 737 that can remove and install easily with one person, atr requires at least 2 to install back, removing also quite troublesome. you can notice small winglet at the wingtip, and it's a winglet, hehehe, the whole wing is made from composite structure, yup, the thing attached behind is called tail prop to prevent the aircraft from toppling up, limited 7 person to be at the back, if for firefly, their people will install it instead of ground crew, the storage of the tail prop is inside the aft compartment where you locate the flight data recorder and cvr.
