  1. 737 families using the same plug type door including NG. as long the cabin different pressure is there, the door can't be open....:-)

  8. Nothing to worry much, the aircraft is okay, just that the crew did the engine shut down according to their check list due to certain reason. That's why 737 is made with 2 engines. F50 and Twin Otter very common land with single engine.
  9. This aircraft has no problem with its engine, it was due to another reason that's why it was been shut down in flight. The aircraft operate normally back to kul next day.

  12. The aircraft now flying happily, this accident like landing gear collapsed or engine surgine are not because maintenance work or old age, things happened, even if we buy 10 new bmw, not all are perfects, even brand new delivery aircraft also have problem.

  14. Not necessary, every aircraft has their own problems, somehow it's just unlucky to happened on MMR. 737 is very reliable aircraft.
  15. it's not the aircraft aging's fault. Beside, landing gear have to replace at certain cycles. It doesn't follow the aircraft age.
  16. 777 is not meant for short route flights like kul-kch. It consumes more fuel than it flight longer and maintenance. That's what happened to MH A330 currently.
  17. The pdf format is not full CAR (by the way, MCAR has changed to CAR), it's only part 1. The hardcopy it's either you get from Pencetakan Nasional or some book store selling it.

  20. Basically in KLIA only either KLAS or MAS doing the ground handling not including engineering depending on the particular airlines having contract with who. Say example like emirates, ground handling by KLAS but engineering by MAS.
  21. Maswings has less forward cargo capacity than firefly ATR to faciliate more seats. seating pitch the same just that it has partition for business class.
  22. airbus philosophy is computer is smarter than human. So, if the pilot is trying to crash it, the computer will override the pilot and make it back to straight and level. as for boeing like 777, it's also fly-by-wire, but the philosophy of human smarter than computer still there. If the pilot wanted to stall it, the computer protection system sensed it and will against the intention of the pilot, but if the pilot insisted it, the computer will let go and follow what the pilot commands it. B777 still have somes conventional cables running thru it. Airbus a330 uses conventional cable only for stabilizer. others all wires.
