Yes or no! Is all we want to hear from the air force, if the aircraft actually flew over their controlled zone. In this case would be Gong Badak and Butterworth bases.What about southern Thailand surely they have their own radar coverage too.(military/civilian)

Can someone in the air force once and for all confirmed IF yes or no they manage to track the aircraft flew over the peninsula towards the west coast! The air force base on east coast is not very far from the location where plane disappeared !Surely their primary and secondary radars MUST have picked up the signal of the aircraft flying over our airspace!They first mention of this at 2nd day press conference .Does it take this long to verify once and for all a triple 7 actually flew over their controlled zone.

How far does the signal from the ELT travels.Do all the assets looking for this signals need a special equipment to detect the signal?Also can satellites pick up this signal?

Its not like the aircraft was over the Arctic its vietnam of all places!Surely they have a sophisticated enough radar system to keep track of their airspace!
