I never heard of any incident involving MAS B734. The only one was Tanjung Kupang in Johor. That was way back then and the cause of the disaster is not mechanical. Airlines in Malaysia are some of the airlines around the world with high safety record.

Sure people want AirAsia because the fare are much more cheaper than MAS Wings. MAS Wings much more expensive. Maybe for rich2 taiko and businessmen on business trip only. First and foremost it is wrong to list Sibu-KK route as rural.It is intertown such as Sibu-Kuching and Miri-KK. And few mistakes were found in the newspaper excerpt.
