To answer Arthur: Traditionally the Transport Minister is from the MCA party but since MCA lost badly in the last general elections, its leadership vowed not to be included in the cabinet. But recently Najib thought they should and MCA may reverse its decision. BTW who wants to be the transport minister at times like this with MH370 disappearance still unresolved. He / she will be the world's focus!

MAS Nasi Lemak Telanjang Criticized by Chef Wan & Chef Zam
Rozhan replied to J. Suri's topic in General Aviation
Now that is a fully clothed nasi lemak... -
I was told the same thing by a former station manager at a certain Asean country. I wonder if this is a common practise in other airlines or a special perk at MH?

Someone posted pictures of a former PM using a gov aircraft to "balik Raya" some time ago. I wonder if a former PM is entitled to that? He was already just an MP only.

Chinese tourists on SIA flight tried to keep cutlery
Rozhan replied to Mike P's topic in General Aviation
Airlines should just take this as a form of advertising. The logo on these things will remind them to fly SQ again next time. -

Some years ago an elderly man was stark naked roaming in the checkin counters at the MTB. MAHB security was clueless in handling the situation and was just following the man in stead of trying to drape him with a towel or something. He walked around for at least a few minutes. I was not able to know the outcome as was rushing to the gates. I did see many people with their jaws drop!

Accident: Asiana B772 at San Francisco on Jul 6th 2013
Rozhan replied to JingKai Seah's topic in General Aviation
It would be helpful if all airports could install cctvs overlooking runways to record whatever that may cause accidents, considering takeoffs and landings are the most critical phases of flight. -
QF headphones made by Chinese prison labours, alleges former inmate
Rozhan replied to Y. J. Foo's topic in General Aviation
I recall reading an article many many years ago where MAS headphones are cleaned and repacked by Pudu Prison inmates so that they can earn something while waiting to be released. I thought it was a good idea. -
Snowden -- Destination Cuba: Alongside empty seat 17A
Rozhan replied to Naim's topic in General Aviation
This guy has knowledge many intelligence agencies would love to know. -
MH should check on those little things. I had tray table which could not be secured and it was popping out while on the takeoff run, througout the flight and landing! I had to use my knees to hold it in place as there was no other seat to switch to. It was on the 734, and glad it is being phased out!

Indonesian Official Strikes Flight Attendant
Rozhan replied to alberttky's topic in General Aviation
Oh yes. Some people should realise that titled people are not sent from the heavens and if they do wrong, they should be appropriately punished. Just because one is a Datuk or Tan Sri, they are not to be touched. -

Chicken Pox, AirAsia and Denied Boarding
Rozhan replied to affendi osman's topic in General Aviation
And the woman concerned was pictured crying while clutching some money and the child... to dramatize the incident. Sikit sikit menangis...! Nobody wants to get infected in an airplane. Reminds me of the SARS epidemic -
The esteemed journalist could have used "hampir" or almost. But then again we are talking about a $hitty newspaper...

I wonder do they really need people to be present to commit the alleged fraud... Surely there are more sophisticated ways to do "it"... One can shut a few mouths but when there are hundreds of people in the supply chain as witnesses, someone is bound to talk
