HKG video of woman missing flight becomes online hit

CX is very generous I must say... The plane has departed by the time I arrived at the airport once, but I went to the ticket counter in the hope of being put on another flight without penalty, true enough I was granted without any difficulty... on my choice flight... Thanks to Sneeze, too, who helped me with the Cantonese... The second time, I arrived at the gate barely 10 min before closing and my name was called over the PA... (malunya...) Generous enough, they let me in... I like flying with CX... -

I would say a formal apology from MAS wouldn't help much in terms of what happened, perhaps an apology from MAS would only restore the self-esteem and heal her injured emotion. A deportee on a civilian flight? Do I get it correctly? With the a deportee hurling abusive words at a passenger, MAS should have responded with prudence. Security personnels should have been summoned to deal with the situation. And it's really disturbing to learn that MAS personnel didn't relocate the deportee but instead relocated a properly seated customer. It wasn't a bad thing, but it could have been better off seating the deportee at a seat more desirable to him...

Survey: M'sian air travellers likely to chat with seatmates
Teoh Z Yao replied to Azri M.'s topic in General Aviation
I chat. Sometimes I initiate the conversation, sometimes otherwise. I initiate based on my instinct and mood. When I'm pensive, I don't talk and thus I don't initiate conversations. Of course in the case others initiate, I would be glad to chat away. However, if my instinct tells me the person is not affable, I wouldn't initiate a conversation. Instinct is sometimes misleading, of course. I chat on planes, in buses, in cabs, anywhere. Somehow, my g/f says I have penchant to chit-chat with cabbies... -
I think I have heard enough turbulence stories to convince me of the importance of buckling up my seatbelt while seated and reducing my inflight tour now... These victims can be unsung heroes if you see the bright side... Hope they get well soon!
