Greg Wood 3 Report post Posted September 25, 2008 (edited) Hi all , Perth Intl Airport's observation deck will be closed to the general public between the hours of 09.15hrs & 11.00hrs on 14th October 2008 for a function for the Qantas A380 visit to Perth. This was confirmed today to me today by West Australian Newspapers when contacted today. In other news Virgin Blue have now commenced twice daily return flights between Adelaide & Perth using Embraer ERJ-190 aircraft. Nice Anyone wishing to photograph the A380 if in Perth should avoid the terminal if at all possible, and try your luck on the approach & landing instead. Here are the flights (PER time): 1. DJ 351 (arrival-8:20 AM) 2. DJ 354 (departure-9:15 AM) 3. DJ 357 (arrival - 5:15 PM) 4. DJ 358 (departure - 6.00 PM) Here are some more additions from the observation deck... National Jet bound for Cocos Islands OZ JET to Denpasar while the DASH-8 is from Cairns, owned by Aircruising Australia (VH-QQE) 'Freycinet Peninsula' transferred from Bay 50 to the gate. Ground crews getting her ready for her noon flight to Singapore. Testing some 'pening' shots.. Embraer going back to Adelaide..
