fablee 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2011 (edited) What is your difficulty? The A380-800 is a very distinctive aircraft. Take a good look at it and I am sure that you will know it when you see it at airports or in the air. Here is another photo to help you! http://www.micronet-solutions.com/malaysianwings/Christmas2010_SIN/SIN_9V-SKJ_20101226_720.jpg Hi Flee Welcome to Changi and Crowne Plaza. flee 5 Report post Posted January 1, 2011 Hi Flee Welcome to Changi and Crowne Plaza. Which floor did you take these shots from? Btw r u using a d700 or d7000? Hi fablee! Happy New Year! That shot was taken on the 8th floor with a D7000. Great shots, Daniel & Flee The Las Vegas Sands Corp's 733 returned back to Subang today at 1542hrs. Thanks MIR... Never managed to catch the Sands aircraft when they are around SZB. Very nice classic aircraft, esp the 747 SP! Flee, Love your Indonesian selection; excellent results of your D7000 Happy New Year Pieter!

Hoe Jyh 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2011 02 Jan 11 With the beginning of a new year, the weather also seemed to have momentarily taken a turn for the better at last. Las Vegas Sands B737-300 N789LS seemed to have taken over the duty of its sister aircraft N788LS, which appeared to have been stored from online records. This 22 year old aircraft had previously operated for Condor as D-AGED and Delta Airlines as N224DA before joining the casino giant's fleet in 2007. Apart from JA619A, ANA also has another B763ER which is fitted with winglets. JA620A was delivered to the airline in mid-November, but unlike JA619A, it seemed that the winglets were fitted by Boeing prior to delivery. Jetstar A332 is now a regular feature at Changi with a daily afternoon arrival as JQ7 from MEL. Still patiently waiting for an opportunity to photograph the 'albino' VH-EBC! Garuda Indonesia sent their B744 PK-GSI again as GA8284 from CGK this evening. British Airways B744 G-CIVW has an additional sticker on her nose that says "Air Force Scrum". This aircraft was the official aircraft which brought the British & Irish rugby Lions team to South Africa for their tour in 2009, and the name of the aircraft was chosen after a naming contest. http://press.ba.com/?p=706 Thanks for viewing

flee 5 Report post Posted January 3, 2011 First time seeing the JetStar A333 in SIN and never saw it when it operated to KUL briefly. Last time I saw one was in OOL. Continuing the JetStar theme, there were lots of their Singapore A320s. But my personal favourite aircraft is the A345. They are being phased out due to their gas guzzling but it is such a handsome aircraft, especially bathed in this early morning light!

Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted January 3, 2011 I will be there in mid-April too... Apart from the huzzle-n-buzzle of the city, you should take some time off for spotting too: you won't regret it - plenty of interesting aircraft there...

Hoe Jyh 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2011 After a rather long spell of terrible weather over the past few months, we finally had a stretch of rather good light this afternoon Air New Zealand NZ6021 from Christchurch was operated by B767-300ER ZK-NCL with winglets. China Eastern provided a very nice surprise ahead of Chinese New Year by upsizing and sending in A346 B-6055 with Expo livery instead of the usual AB6. At long last, Jetstar finally obliged and sent in their 'albino' A332 VH-EBC in excellent evening light today. British Airways B744 G-CIVZ with One World livery. Thanks for reading! Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted January 16, 2011 No PH-BVD ?
Hoe Jyh 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2011 No PH-BVD ? Unfortunately no as today (or rather yesterday) is a Sunday and thus KL835 does not operate. KL837 was operated by PH-BQE which had went to land on 02C as 02L was closed for runway cleaning at that time.
