744LCF maiden flight

Awesome! Looks like a cobra who just swallowed a whole cow!

Errr...its not a cobra, it should be a python. Python jawbones can be "dislocated" from its sockets to allow it to swallow prey, and once everything is in, it gets back to its normal position.

How would it effect the aerodynamics, i think that the engineers have figured out but man it looks ugly....

maybe with a coat of plane it would look nicer

whatta beast!

Pregnant 747 - yes, I can agree with that.

Python swallow a cow? - yeah, looks like the pic from the newspaper the other day!

but.. seriously.. Large Cargo Freigher - where did the creativity go in that??!?! whatta waste of a name! it should be called the "MAMMOTH" MASSIVE AIRCRAFT MECHANISED MANUFACTURING TRANSPORT HAULER.... or some other interesting acronoym.. but not "Large Cargo Freighter".. jeeezzz...

Before I even get to this post, I was thinking of exactly the same thing.... I mean, python, of course.

Missed the chance to see it on the 31st as we took off on the other runway.

Now NBA players can look forward to never having to duck all the way to the aircraft's lavatories ever again.

it always amazes me to see how boeing can always modify their planes to suit their needs and still can get that thing off the ground

Thanks for sharing, Denny...

Not only the fuselage was modified, but AFAI can see, the tail was changed also from a 'regular' to a 'SP' one :o

Nah, I doubt they even need to paint it. I mean what's the point of wasting cost on the paint, plus it's much lighter when its naked

Aircraft can't fly without painting.

It will blow up when flying at high altitude...

In that pics, the green one is primer painting, and the 'metal' part is chrome painting...

BTW, it looks like a tortoise to me, the head coming out from the shell.. :)
