KK Lee 5 Report post Posted July 23, 2016 (edited) I header some C-17 will be arriving in Subang? Is this true Yes, and all because of this: http://www.pacom.mil/Media/News/News-Article-View/article/837219/cope-taufan-16-kicks-off-in-malaysia/ But I have not seen any USAF aircraft out in the wild at SZB yet... Chaity 1 Report post Posted July 24, 2016 Just to share some photos from last Friday evening while waiting for Suasa Airlines. Not a good day to be around since TSRA and flooding after that around the areas. Tanker coming back in the rain Followed by C17. Both arrivals after 5:00PM+ Main catch is finally out after more than 2 hours delay thanks to the heavy rain earlier. I prefer the pinky shades than the previous colors. All the best to Suasa Airlines !

flee 5 Report post Posted October 19, 2016 Subang has received many VIP visitors and this month, it is the Red Arrows. Here are some of my shots of their arrival from Thailand on 16 October. Coming in from the north for a flypast along runway 15. Swinging around with full smoke on as it flies past the RMAF Subang base. Red 1 breaking formation Rest of the team breaks formation and swings round again to position for runway 33 landing Red 1 lands on runway 33 and rolls along to meet the many fans at the end of the runway Taxiing back to base Quick wave to photographers and onlookers. The following day (17 Oct), the RAF Red Arrows Aerobatic Team performed a display at Epsom College Malaysia, near KLIA. flee 5 Report post Posted October 20, 2016 A couple of catches from SZB The third of four A400M transport aircraft for the RMAF Soon to join the fleet, this ex-Batik Air B738 took off for an air test this morning
flee 5 Report post Posted October 21, 2016 The Red Arrows left Malaysia on 20 October, heading to China via Thailand and Vietnam. When the RAF Red Arrows Aerobatic Team goes on tour, it takes a lot to support the 12 British Aerospace Hawk T1As. In addition to the 24 hour support from their homebase in RAF Scampton in the UK, two RAF Hercules C-130J travels with them to provide on site support. RobK 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2017 Gentlemen, would it be possible to get a fresh update on the storage situation at Subang and KUL please, with pics if poss? Most of the old 727s, 737s, 747s haven't been noted for some time. I'm personally looking for fresh info on Nepture Air B722 9M-NEP which hasn't been seen for a long time but was offered for sale on a site in 2013. Are the Transmiles/Rayas still all sitting derelict or now scrapped? Last info I have was that 2 of the Raya 722s were still active for that's old news now and I expect they've been withdrawn now? So many spotters around Subang but this thread rarely sees any updates .
