Peter Smith 1 Report post Posted March 26, 2006 You may. Newer IATA Boeing designators always seem to catch people out... 73G = 737-700 73W = 737-700 (winglets) 738 = 737-800 73H = 737-800 (winglets) FYI.. 77L = 777-200LR 77W = 777-300ER

Azuddin 1 Report post Posted March 27, 2006 (edited) here's more from me. most of them are my best shot. My very first extreme close up to a CFM-56. taken from under the wing. using cheap disposable camera with no zoom 9M-MPP, just arrived from LAX via TPE. You always see Singapore and Malaysia side by side on the map. here at LAX, you can see them side by side too. Taken during my Hong Kong trip SIA B777-200, I don't know if LeeCH is running this one that day. The darkside is coming over thi MH A332. preparin gfor flight to KUL at 9.00AM. Continental 737-800, taken from Continental 757-300 9M-MPO preparing for KUL-LAX The Mad Dog of Atlanta Wing of 9M-MPP enjoy Azuddin Edited March 27, 2006 by Azuddin

Azuddin 1 Report post Posted March 28, 2006 Azuddin, are u sure that that's 9AM?! The sky..CB clouds and thunderstorm foriming la.. Why is SQ & MH always are side by side? actually the picture was taken about 8AM in the morning, the A332 is preparing for boarding for 9AM KUL flight. they are expecting heavy thunderstorm that day, all flight which is 10AM and later has been delayed until further notice. luckily i'm on the CX 9AM flight to KUL. i don't know why they are side by side but it's always unique and ironic. even the SIA 777 is next to MH A332 if you look at the dark cloud photo of mine above.
