Malaysian national? Looks like a foreign student studying at a Malaysian university. Anyway, still better than the 'just stand and strapped' proposal a while back.

Drawings show insanely generous legroom - is that in Y ?

Also, if the pax in front decides to recline, it doesn't look possible to put your tray away

But good to see fresh ideas :good:

The fact that it takes 16% more space will make the carriers write it off. Cattle class is "cram as many passengers as you can" class.

It's never meant to be an Economy Class seat.

But if you see the layout given in the page, ......

What is shown in the layout is quite alarming

Imagine having the seat in front of you reclined up to your headrest :shok:

Ive looked at it many times and it doesnt make sense. The fact it will take up more space means that its unlikely to happen IMHO

Some local coaches already have similar designs. 44 seaters with thigh support. When the seat reclines, the thigh support and the cushion moved in unison to provide that extra luxury feel.

The difference here is the coach's seats are much more comfortable compared with airlines' seats. The foams used are much more thicker and cushier than the thin and bottoming airline seats.

Airline seats are using light weight material for cushioning that would not last as long as normal molded foam seats such as those in high end luxury coaches made by certain local brand.
