KUL 14L 2012

Recommended Posts

KUL 14 season is starting ....... :clapping:

Just happen to switch over to Flightradar24.com and saw this flight CA0012 from Phnom Penh according to KLIA website.

Who is the VIP visiting Malaysia ? :help:

Hope someone in KUL to capture her arrival and share the photos here. :pardon:

I doubt if the Chinese will allow those creatures to be brought in now, not before all the special facilities required for their pampering (some say survival) are built and deemed up to the mark :)

Sorry, OT

Today they are using 14L for landing only in the afternoon.

There are some spots on the roadside to the LCCT where you can get some shots, maybe between or above the light poles.

MPL arriving as MH 1 from LHR. Next month the equipment could be different.

I didn't really stay long, as I wanted to check out another old favorite. Today I managed to drive all the way up the the old spot in the ladang, no mud due to the dry season and no gate either. Unfortunately the ladang as a spotting spot is truly dead, as the palm trees has grown tall.

First time I went to the spot in at least 4 years, and don't think I'll ever go there again.

Just hope that they'll use 14L in the morning; that is our last hope.

Capt Radzi, welcome back. :drinks:

Ladang is really not so suitable for 14L landing with the palm trees growing taller like in your photo. :diablo:

Will have to make do with the limited available spots. :pardon:

Yeah so sad to hear that ladang is not longer suitable for spotting. I've not even got the chance to go spotting yet. :cray:

So guess I'll have to do with Anjung Tinjau which I'll be there later this afternoon to hone my skill...

As per yesterday, it is still resting between MTB and Bunga Raya complex. Parked at A14 if i'm not mistaken.

Both XAC and XAB are back to their previous parking spot between MTB and runway 32R. Both are in all-white cs.

Thanks MIR, some of us "escorted" her departure from Anjung Tinjau this morning on a wet day (as defined by TK to me) :pardon:

Yes, Capt Radzi, we saw both aircraft in pure white and spotless too. :acute:

Good one Hon Kit ! :drinks:

Really challenging to get those smoky touchdown shots without blocking by those palm trees. :diablo:

Spotting in Ladang has elevated to another level of challenge. :pardon:
