Waiping 12 Report post Posted June 21, 2012 The N705FJ Falcon 7X rotated right after 1000 foot touchdown markings on runway 15. Very early...and powerful climb rate. I couldn't get the destination. The RMAF in action.. Test run on runway...M30-10, Normally base in Labuan. Not an easy catch. Not easy to catch here either, or even in Labuan.

KS Ong 1 Report post Posted June 23, 2012 Some shots taken a few days ago and today Don't see this fella around often. The main target for the past few days. White Bird 741. It could be mistaken as Rice Bird, Thai Bird over the radio with heavy Thai accent. Suppose to do a test flight, but only did a high speed test. Hopefully she have her test flight tomorrow. TK 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2012 waited for her from 09:00am in good light. By the time this eagle decided to spread her wings, it was 17:12 with not much light. What i got info from Airod personnel, 26th June, Tuesday, is her departure day, no idea what will be the time.
Rashdan Radzi 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2012 I arrived beside RWY15 just after 5pm, only to see the RTAF C-130 lining up. I deduce that must've been you guys, then, I saw - with the cameras and "elevation extension" devices? - and walkie-talkie too? (Myself, but a casual spotter - I do head down there once in a while, when I can. For someone outside the industry, seems like a lot of good fun.)

Apart from the usual Fireflies and Berjayas, these are some uncommon visitors. Sankar Cement - Hawker Beechcraft 900XP - VT-ICA Hong Kong Jet - Gulfstream G550 - B-KHJ Volga-Dnepr - IL-76TD-90VD. As of 5.30pm, she was in labour delivering a chopper. Dunno when she will check out. Good luck catching this rare Russian bird.
