Norman 1 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 WoW! Awesome pictures Norman. Didnt know it cost a bomb eating there, and i think the burger should taste awlful. Is the DCA guys playing FS there? 19630 No they were not "playing" FS2004 is being used in as part of training aid for DCA KLIA controllers The scenerios of the simulator were customised to suit their working conditions The pic shows one of the sim unit being use and demo to visitors... Norman 1 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 waaaauu.. damn cool...dat diamond latc cadets are juz so lucky... they even got gps...dats awesome no need to bring their map =) 19642 Yup... you're right, Peja.... Their NavEx was always spot-on But as I said... hopefully they can still use the paper map & strings when they are posted to a less technologically advance cockpit, say Twin Otter for eg Walter... that's correct, default B737 panel, and not Squawkbox but autotaxi panel They use various aircraft to simulate traffic for their ATC Simulator.. Ok... back to more pictures Seems that MIG always stole the show everyday BTW... I made a mistake on MIG29's callsign, its "TaringBisa" not TedungBisa..... and F18's callsign was "LipanBara" So here two of the nine TaringBisa waiting for their turn.... ....while LipanBara was doing his stuns Gears shot for BenG "TaringBisa ZeroTree taxying to holding point TooWan" Don't Play-Play as Azahan said when taking bum-shot It was really hot-gas from these two holes... but its not everyday that you'll get MIG29 soot on your clothings to be continued... Norman 1 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 While Taringbisa Taxiying to Runway TooWan Lipanbara did a slow-nose-high stun.. LipanBara ZeroToo exiting the active "Phew... job done... let see those MIG drivers show their stuff" Full Afterburner for take-off We can dance in a group.... ... and we can do solo... This is the famous Cobra Maneuver by MIG29 and while he's doing this, another MIG29 broke the sound barrier over the runway... too fast for me to capture.. .. KC Sim 2 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 Congratulations Norman . . . from this side of the causeway. Many of us were eyeing a visit to Langkawi for LIMA 2005 but as it turned out, few of us could make it. Thanks therefore for the beautiful pictures (and often very funny captions) and reports. Next LIMA show, I am certain some of us will make it. Beautiful MIGs and FA-18 of RMAF. KC Sim Singapore
