EK economy is ok. The IFE and food are really good but seats are rubbish. MH Y seats on the 772 are the best ... Sad to see them go

Yeah Capt, I wasn't trying to attack MH. I have family members who work for MH. Staff morale is is pretty low in the UK National health service for medical and nursing staff as the government is planning to change our contract which will result it 15-30% pay drop in spite of working longer hours. But we don't treat our patients like crap. We still do our job and carry on. It's not the customers fault that MH is in a crap state. It's some of your management and the government that have made it that way. All I'm saying is that there is a noticeable drop in customer service level over the 18 years I've been using MH to fly long haul. I hope CM managed to sort MH's financial situation out

If u give consistently good service and nice hard product, you will win customers. unfortunately MH's service has gone down the drain over the years. Even on their flagship LHR-KUL service, standards have slipped over the past 18 years... I tried to ignore the negative comments on skytrax but on my last flights with them, the tray table was smelly and had either food or vomit stains.

Well, then AF's move of suspending KUL is very premature. Hope KL and AF will pick up the slack from MH's exit of these very important European markets. I suspect however that the ME3 will be the ones who are partying! Most like MH will be code sharing more with BA and QR for European services and hopefully carry on their partnership with KL too!

CM did mention that there will be new industry leading business class seats... So it's not in our imagination..

Well chris tan, it's not my airline and I don't make the decisions on cuts, meals or routes. I'm not justifying anything.. I don't like seeing MH like this either but if they are bleeding money, something needs to be done to arrest it. Later, they can hopefully grow again like JL. By the way, you guys were talking about domestic business class meals, that's why I mentioned about what happens in Europe. I wasn't talking about intra- Europe business class meals, which is considered to be 'regional' rather than domestic.

Come on guys, give MH a chance. At least you get a meal Most European airlines don't have business class domestic routes anymore. You'll be lucky if you get anything .. 'Sweet or savoury' snacks aka AF/KL...

I think they should have concentrated on using KLIA2 as a transit Hub instead of being greedy and spreading themselves too thinly by flying from Bangkok and Denpasar as well...

Picking up the slack from MH's impending suspension of IST. Great news for KUL though. I wish there was some way Air france could reverse their decision on suspending KUL now that MH has down-gauged CDG.
