BC Tam replied to flee's topic in General Aviation
So, has there been any effective MAVCOM measure taken so far to resolve the current disruptions to MH's services as described in separate thread here ? http://www.malaysianwings.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=21303&page=2 Plenty of people inconvenienced and in dispute for sure -

Fernandes confirms AirAsia order for 66 Airbus 330 neo planes from: https://www.thestar.com.my/business/business-news/2018/07/03/fernandes-confirms-airasia-order-for-66-airbus-330-neo-planes/#W162jK4KqmHBvwdX.99 So, 330neo it shall be henceforth I guess the 350 order will just fade into oblivion, gradually

Many, many moons ago there were scheduled A300s and DC-10s services KCH-BKI vv when some Tokyo and Seoul (maybe Hong Kong too) flights were 'bended' to make calls at the two EM airports -
Allegations arise of MAS waiving RM17,000 excess baggage fees for Najib
BC Tam replied to David.W's topic in General Aviation
Oh just let them be - who amongst us here have not ever exceeded their baggage allowance ? And been so grateful when the check-in agent decided to turn a blind eye on issue instead Instead, I say we should look into manner in which such 'intimate' details related to a travelling civilian could have made it unto social media. I would venture to opine that some privacy policy rule had been breached along the way - will anyone be held accountable ? -

What on earth do you think they shipped over to for the few days they were there ?! Surely they could have sourced for kangkung locally in Langkawi ? -

If what was reported earlier about the PLAF providing fighter(s) escort to SL Kimmy's ride (whatever equipment that may be) proves true, it's more than likely they may forgo that 'Chinese Commie only' rule as a side consideration However, if the North Koreans had decided to go cheap on the charter rates, you get what your cash gets .......

Apparently the Supreme Leader did not want to be seen arriving in a smaller narrowbody (IL-62) when it's a given that POTUS will drop in on the big mamma AF1 So he rather get a lift on Comrade Xi's ride instead, said comrade being all too keen to remind all that he is paying attention to all that is unfolding in his backyard That is what I read la .....

Singapore Airlines to Resume Non Stop Flights to the US

Mind boggling, 19 hours Will it be business class only as per SQ's previous ULR offering ? Or will they be dispensing special survival kits to Y pax (should they dare to undertake the mission) ?! -
Evidently someone forgot to remove the 1MY branding

Yes, the timings look quite good (at least for oneself, travelling from/to BKI) One possible downside may be the early morning arrival into LHR and getting caught up in the morning rush hour during weekdays Though can always while an hour or so away at the airport and commute after 9am, when train fares drop quite considerably

Note that for many days in the year, one doesn't get to see the sun in London anyway ..... be it rising or setting Incidentally, is that brightish spot just below the "-STOP" in picture above supposed to depict a London sunrise scene ?

@5:30 above If that "baby" is not profit driven, what the heck are AK and D7 shareholders hanging on for ?! The guy is simply grovelling his way back into good books of incoming administration after coddling up to MO1 before this. No doubt we will now have the story about first meeting with the old horse all those years ago, offered AK lock stock and barrel for the token RM1, etc ...... be recycled ad infinitum (a narrative many will have noticed missing in recent times) And I do not buy idea that blue D7 flight was some last minute appeasement measure - at the very least those stickers needed time to have been designed, printed and pasted on For a more cheong-hei version No more pulling wool over our eyes, superstar Tony Fernandes! https://www.malaysiakini.com/columns/424720 -
