  1. -MNC is now in service after a long check inside the hangar.
  2. For instances, in order to give and maintain better inflight dining service, crew hardly to say no if the customers request for it otherwise they will complain eventhough they are already overdrinking..
  3. Let say by this 6 extra seats, if 4 return flights per day it can make up to 6x4(2)x30days x 12 months = around 17.2k passengers per year. That's just one aircraft. Well, this figure is important especially for LCC airline.
  4. Well, 2 A332F are in hangar 5 as per today, with reg. 9M-MUC & -MUD while at the same time 744F 9M-MPR is in hangar 6. I guess MAB gonna keep 2 A332F to keep their cargo ops alive.

  6. -MTM has be in service with new J class since last Friday. In other hand, -MTG is on progress with refurbishment, expected in service on September 1, 2016
  7. If OD opt for 33-34' seat pitch on A330 with 2-4-2 seating configuration would be a plus ( my wishful thinking). Similar to what Oman Air did to their A330.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malindo Air, a premium Malaysian-based carrier is organising a sarong kebaya uniform design competition, with the intention of attracting Malaysians diverse talent in fabric, graphic art and fashion design. The competition is open to all talented Malaysian designers and its closing date is on 25 July 2016. Designs are for Malindo Airs full set of female stewardess uniforms and male steward uniforms. Malindo Air is looking at a concept which reflects on Malaysian ethnic batik design. CEO of Malindo Air Mr Chandran Rama Muthy said, This competition is held to display new and original designs that reflect the Malaysian spirit and values and at the same time recognize the uniqueness of the batik motif that could best represent our airline and nation simultaneously. He added, We are giving away attractive cash prizes to the winners. Winners will be chosen by an independent panel of judges appointed by Malindo Air. The winning designs will be chosen as the official uniform designs of Malindo Airs new and enhanced image of our leading senior cabin crew.   16. With recent joint venture with Lufthansa Technik that capable for A320 maintenance, I am not suprised to hear that they will opt for A321neoLR. As MAB is more towards Airbus fleet in following years

The largest contributing business segment in the Group will be Air Transportation Services which houses Malaysia Airlines Berhad, Firefly and MASwings, network carriers serving the global and domestic markets and all passenger segments. Also under the umbrella is the division MAB Kargo providing standard, express and special cargo. This division will apply for its own Airline Operating Certificate and will operate as separate company as of 2017. The group will also include ground handling services, engineering, training facilities as well as a dedicated aircraft leasing company to provide customized and competitive aviation leasing solutions to the Group.   19. As posted on their Facebook, ex MAS B777-200ER 9M-MRL is going to be their first fleet, which undergoes maintenance check at KLIA hangar.
  20. From the news, I never knew that MAB operates B737-400 Freighter. Haha. I guess that was typo.
  21. So, I guess the retro 747 is going to do charter/haji run as Ramadhan Holy month is just near the corner.
  22. And now the cabin crews are attending class for 747 at academy. Should be any longer to see the flight take off soon.
