  1. Well Tony, just FYI, they have now replaced that nasty breakfast item with refreshment which consists of a muffin and a jam filled danish. I had that when I flew KUL-ADL last Monday.
  2. Yup, still remember that. Back then they used to serve some muffins or danishes or buns on flights between IPH and KUL. The loads were still not that bad back then perhaps due to the better schedule i.e. 6.40 am and 6.40 pm which offered very good connections to domestic and international flights alike.
  3. I completely agree with you on this. It takes them forever to reply you and that is provided if they do reply you. Sometimes you're ignored completely.
  4. And the claims about refreshments being served onboard. In most cases, it's just a cup of juice/milo unless you're flying Business Class.
  5. Thanks. Will check if Borders ADL has it.
  6. What's the title of the book ?
  7. So it really is "Bringing Democracy To Travel" heh ? Well FAX being the monopoly for Rural Air Services there won't be much of a democracy isn't it ? You won't have a choice besides them.
  8. It's for their BKI-HKG flights.
  9. I have a friend studying at UTM and living on campus too.
  10. That would be quite a headline if it does happens.
  11. Sounds very similar to QF's Qantas Club. It costs $ 685 per year for Australian residents and $ 625 per year for non Australian residents. They also have Life memberships priced at $ 4200 and $ 3820 respectively. Anyone can be a member of QF Club and it is not restricted to any particular Elite Status. Subsequent years membership can be renewed at lower rates. The list of benefits of joining QF Club can be found here: QF Club Benefits
  12. Was this mentioned in the website or is it just your speculation ?
  13. The information provided on their website is still pretty sketchy though.
  14. Good one, Tony. Sing Yew is too.
  15. Unfortunately KL-Ipoh train journey departs at night thus not providing much of a view. Besides it arrives Ipoh at 1 am. That was when I last checked out the timetable not too sure if its still the same these days.
  16. Being an Ipoh native, I fail to understand what is so fantastic about Ipoh hor fun. Someone out there please enlighten me.
  17. Wow!!! The first photo is just priceless. Bravo Capt!
