Malaysia Airlines plane loses engine parts in takeoff Posted 11/3/2006 10:59 AM ET STOCKHOLM (AP) — A Malaysia Airlines jet with 300 people on board lost several engine parts during takeoff Friday, forcing it to return to a Swedish airport, officials said. 300 people onboard. Quite a good load.

A bit off topic here. I have been told with MAS, we can get 'reverse ticket', meaning if I am going to fly SYD-KUL vv, we can actually purchase the ticket in M'sia instead of Australia. This may cheaper if compare the ticket issued in M'sia (RM) with the one issued in Australia (AUD$). Can anyone confirm this ?

And yet, still no US carrier flies to KLIA Anyway, more airlines to KLIA, better for KLIA spotters !

Any reason why ? Btw, is there any curfew been implemented in KLIA, or it is operating 24 hours ?
