  1. Congrats to Edwin, very nice shot indeed http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1077645/M/ Keep up the good work . By the way, is this sunrise or sunset?
  2. Sneeze, Very nice pics from HKG. When is the best time to go Hong Kong for travel and spotting?
  3. Very nice pics from the obervation hill Any one taking video from there? The video should be very stunning esp for the late heavies rotation.
  4. Congratulations LeeCH Hope to see more of your shots in A.net.
  5. Samuel, The road is tar, in quite good condition, speed limit is 90km/h but some good and straight part of the road, u can drive up to 110km/h safely. During the trip, u can rest at Niah town after 1 hour from Miri or rest at Bintulu after 2.5 hours from Miri. After Bintulu, the only place that u can rest is Selangau, 1 hour from Sibu. Hope this helps.
  6. Tamizi, Sorry i didn't go to the airport on Sun. Saw the pics of 9M-AFH on newspaper today. If i know that AK is sending in Foxtrot Hotel, i would have go to the airport.
  7. Emperor, Sorry to hear that MAB guards ask u to leave . But dun worry, still got half a year of single runway 14L operation .
  8. Tamizi, That shot is taken by the fence as well. Spotting by the fence is a pain as u'll get fence in some of the photos. Nick, I'll try to snap some when i go spotting again. Samuel, Miri to Sibu is around 5 hours by car.
  9. Tamizi, The best place to spot in SBW is the boarding room and also the apron when u board AK or MAS F-50. Sunlight is better in the afternoon, morning is backlit, hence the orangish colour in your photo. Other than that, only can spot by the fence. Point and shoot camera lense can go through the fence but for DSLR, only can press as close to the fence as possible and hope that fence will not appear in the photo. Hope this helps.
  10. Tamizi, Nice coverage of SBW. I went spotting on 8/7 (Sat), miss u by a day. Edwin, If u miss Sibu, just come back. We can have a gathering either at the coffee shop or SBW .
  11. Awesome shot . Observation hill is such a wonderful place for 14L late rotation. More shots please.

  15. Radzi, Thanks for the great news.
  16. TK, The ferry that we cross together was smaller and it's at Durin ferry point. This one was a bigger ferry at Lanang ferry point, which is now closed. The shot is taken one week before the ferry operation ceased permanently due to the completion of the bridge.
  17. Edwin, Keep the shots coming.... More ah moi please.
  18. Nice shot of 9M-AFD. Well done, Iggy .
  19. Nice, nice, nice!! Azahan, did Yati kiss the nose before u kiss it?
  20. Nice catch. Three holers are getting rarer and rarer. Only if we can do that in Malaysia and S'pore.
  21. Tamizi, I did not take pics from the terminal building. I shoot through fence. Seth, I'm honoured to say Sibu is still a MAS destination after the restructuring with 2 routes only. KUL - SBW KCH - SBW
  22. Awesome... Thumbs up for u!!!
  23. Kuching is famous for Kolok Mee and Sibu is famous for Kampua Mee. Sibu even got one stall selling Halal Kampua Mee .
