Personally i dont agree that Datuk Sri IJ at MAS office make this ticket fare MaHal (expensive)..I not expert/well know about this fare structure but as we all know, for past 30 years this KUL-SIN vv route monopoly by MAS and SIA only and this route also as lucrative route also 4th busiest route in Asia..MAYBE that the reasons make this route so/bit expensive.. Since this route open for LCC both nations, may be in future we can see bit cheaper fare but dont expect too much for cheap fare for this route on full service airlines..

Yes..Good day for KLIA spotters..we can see blue wave coming in town next year..I cant wait for that moment.. I dont think so AF will start operate here as schedule flight..if AF can make step here, mean we near to bring back BA operate also..hehehe..

Emm if I not mistaken SilkAir is one of Singapore Airlines subsidiaries company..Correct me if I wrong, SilkAir operates to secondary destination that SIA not cover such as Kuching, Kota Kinabalu also others ASEAN country..Its this airline serve/operate as low cost carrier??But from this thread, i may see it not as LCC..Can I know, basically what is main reason/function of SilkAir for?? Anybody get latests news for the Fokker50 to share??I thought the F50 fix and resume fly after the accident but i never thought i took long time to repair till need call the Fokker engineers to repair..I believe it much expensive to repair this one..but soon all will replace with ATR.. Can MASwings cope their flight timetable with shortage of 1 aircraft for long time??

I personally dont think so any airline will operate there will do daily flight basis..I cant see any passenger demand on it..If Melaka would like to promote their medical tourism, they need to fight with Penang as well..ohh come on, people not come every day to Melaka to go to hospital..hehehehe..I believe Melaka airport more on seasonal like school holiday, and there will be more demand to fly to Langkawi or Sumatra Island.. If the demand high, why we cant see Riau Airline operate daily with their Fokker 50 to Melaka??

Emm let say I fly with MAS to Tokyo and after that i need to go other destination which MAS and ANA having code-share but operate by ANA,it the fare with ANA or MAS much cheaper..Note that this just an example..I just want to know that if MAS fare also go cheap if we get board with MAS code-share partner??Anybody try it before, kindly please share.. :) Thanks..

Good and funny statement here.. :lol: What make a person remain and loyal to an airlines mainly because their service also the fare..According to Capt. Radzi, salary of MAS cabin crew not that high and still last year this nice small cabin crew can bit world famous airlines around world..But winning this award not give too much impact on MAS P&L account but more on a person who turning and overcome financial problems..Same like MAS winning/awarded Coveted ATW's Phoenix Award..Did you ever see this award name/title show at KLIA or at Immigration Counter??No for sure.. But winning on Skytrax really give impact to MAS..

Did this cheaper fare only available during certain season or it available all the year.. 200 to 300 USDollar or equivalent to MYR 660 or 990 is huge different here..Emm may I ask, if I would like to purchase this AI ticket flight but operate by MAS, where did I need to search??On MAS website or AI??Since at MAS website showing "operate by AI", did the fare same?? IF i not mistaken..Berjaya had purchase aircraft to replace the existing planes..But i cant recall what type (i fell like ATR) but since today, we dont even see or hear any new story for Berjaya Air's new aircraft..Berjaya Air deal an agreement with the aircraft manufacture just before Firefly and MASwings purchase ATR72-500s..now FY enjoy their ATR and next month MASwings will enjoy it too..
