  1. Heard it came out in one of the local newspapers.
  2. My old office can be seen in your second picture Tamizi. It's been quite a time that C172SP grounded there.
  3. Great news! Then probably RBA will use Miri International Airport as one of the airport to practise TnG on the B787.
  4. If MAS can allow passengers to bring 1 cabin bag + 1 laptop bag or handbag, why cant AirAsia? This is getting more ridiculous.
  5. Runway 15? I thought the runways should be Runway 14L, 14C and 14R? Same goes to Rwy 32.
  6. No more incoming MX series registration B737-8H6 for Malaysia Airlines? All the incoming B738 are MS series?
  7. Looking forward to widebody airliner flying into Miri. EIther NRT-BKI-MYY or NRT-MYY-BKI.
  8. Hope Malindo can last long. They'll give AirAsia a competition.
  9. Pilots are trained to land with just VOR/DME or just visual to guide them. But to be more safer, ILS should be back up at KKIA. For SFO incident, i think the pilots didnt realise that they went below the glideslope.
  10. Could it be crew on strike? Heard that the pilots are not paid accordingly.
  11. That would take longer time and costs more $$ to convert pilots that are rated on the "Triple Seven". Would be less time and budget consuming to for B777-200 to B77X conversion.
  12. Im my opinion, the crews(pilots) were going low and probably only realised it at the last minute. Match with passengers account of the accident, the engines was at full power like on take off but they're still descending. Meaning the pilots try to iniatiate a go-around but too late. And the aircraft hit the embankment and when the tailplane broke from the fuselage. The two dead victims were probably sitting last row, so they were thrown on the runway when the tailplane seperated from the fuselage. In the chaos, they were runover by emergency vehicle rushing to the accident site.
  13. Thanks bro. So latest bird in the fleet is 9M-MSE. Delivery of 9M-MSF is 01.07.2013. And B739ER for Malindo is 9M-LNJ and LNH.
  14. Yeah! If you see Boeing 737-800 on your travel itinerary or booking, it's a lucky draw. If you get the one with BSI + IFE then you're lucky, if not then luck is not on your side.
  15. What do you mean by paying peanuts? Even AK ticket can cost more than MAS nowadays and can get the best environment at lower price with MAS.
  16. Any more new deliveries of B738NG to MAS? How to check the deliveries status? any website?
  17. Actually there's no harm switching on camera in flight. Camera dont transmit and radiowave that can interfere with the aircraft system. It's just that the airlines dont want you to record their crews mistake for example while doing announcement, pilot and cabin crew suddenly hiccup or other thing. I remembered there's a video recorded in airasia cabin where the pilot do the announcement and then he hiccup suddenly. Hence that's the reason sometiimes the FA dont allow you take picture.
  18. What's the registration for AK A320 with Sharklets? AQQ,AQU? and AQV.
  19. I dont think the increasing of speed by the pilot have anything to do with rupturing of her ear drum. If they aircraft arrive late at LCCT, the other passengers who are in hurry might be mad for arriving late. Any AK pilots out there? Normally what is your setting for the cabin pressure?
  20. He could also be in one of the Super Puma or any private jet that escorting the two jumbo jets.
  21. Microburst- the well known Silent Killer in the aviation industry. The Silent Killer Strikes again?
