Just flew Firefly from SIN to SZB. Noticed that the first row and last few rows of seats are labelled as "Desired seats" and "preferred seats" (not Hot seats? ) I guess one may have to pay for those seats? I just selected auto assign when i checked in online.

I am not an IT person, but I am puzzled as to why it needs 22 hours to be restored, as mention in the statement by MAS?

received the same for my flights to Melboune, max offer of RM2700 one way upgrade. Tempted to try bidding for the lowest offer and see what happens.

So looks like the 738 will be used for the new KUL-SIN route. No wonder I was a bit puzzled when I saw that the equipment used for the route will be 738 in my itinerary.

Finally manged to book Malindo flights to Singapore return at RM215 all in. Not that cheap but considering the free 20kg check in luggage, it is almost comparable to Air Asia. I also noticed from the itinerary confirmation, the aircraft used on this route will be B737-800. Is this a new or leased plane? I thought Malindo only operates B737-900 from KLIA 2? Can anyone confirm this?

It's bookable now - but strangely, the flight via Singapore is cheaper!

Just flown MRN today from Hong Kong to KUL. Very, very light load, I think less than 80 pax in Y......

Yup. I've been cheking on flights to London. KUL-LHR return is now more than RM4k. However same flight on same date from SIN-KUL-LHR return is only S$1.1k

I think SQ also has 32" pitch, right. So probabaly won't affect pax comfort very much if the seats are slim.

I always have problems using Safari on my Mac to access Enrich redemption. What works for me is Firefox...... !

Ive taken VN domestic flight from HCM City to Danang a few years ago - a short flight but operated on 330 - it was a full flight and we were served a full meal. The meal was not too bad, I must say. Service ok, not too different from MH domestic service. The only little encounter we had was that the crew had a hard time getting everyone seated during landing and taxing.

Whatever shortcomings MH may have, I think the least I can do is to give some support to MH now - I've just booked 2 flights with them for my upcoming travel.

hmmm....MH does not fly 777 to Phuket, right....unless the co pilot mentioned did a conversion from 737 in 2011 to 777 in 2014....am I right here?

I was trying to check in a flight on the MH Mobile App. To my horror, I suddenly find 4 persons' flight itinerary whom I do not know appearing on my screen! Anyone has encountered this experience? I wonder how can this be? Is this a bug in MH's app? I just thought that this is rather dangerous

But again - Chinese press tend to sensationalise issues - and I am not surprised that they will bash MH for it. I will be flying MH the next day - I still have full confidence in them

If this happens to MH in KLIA, I hate to think that the nasi lemak telanjang from MH might just make it to other flights ...

Really depressing.....

I think MH needs to be concern about AMS, LHR, and every of their routes!
