Benjamin, I have sat on 27A and 28A many times on the B747 of MAS. The seat 27A has two windows sometimes but not the whole window. But nevertheless, the seats are comfy for a person my height (5' as there is more legroom even when I'm seated properly. I have tried asking for seat 26A but have been told that the seat is reserved for tall people and people who are willing to help in case of any emergency as the person there has to open the exit door and help evacuate. But on many occassions, I noticed people with injured leg seated there, so that got me thinking how will they assist in case of an emergency ?

Great !!!! But it could also mean a code share service, which is good news!!!!! I belive AEROFLOT used to fly the route, with many stops. Doesn't TRANSAERO use a B767 into SIN ? Who are the pax ? Business pax or tourist ?

Muhammad, Totally agree on the arrogance issue and double standards!!! Perhaps even political issues could be the reason, however, I think AF has got to have the "brains" to allow the code share with MH and KL last as they are bringing in big bucks for the company. Pieter, I think AMS has more flights to/from London (STN,LTN,LGW and LHR).

Thats because Pieter is partly Malaysian...!!!!

It is sad that MH has to be left out due to the indifference with AF. Wonder what is the issue all about ? Does AF always have issues like these ? What is MH fighting or demanding for from AF and why cant AF give in ? Anyone with feedbacks; Pieter, have you any insight on this ?

I think MH has more capacity than SQ, isn't that so ? There is silence everywhere about the alliance for MH ?

SV, I think the plane looks kewl, perhaps not outstanding for a new plane for Air NZ. Nevertheless, it is nice and it would be exciting to see them around sometime, perhaps in KUL too, in the next century at least!!!!

I think the whole idea of a low cost airline is to reduce cost on aerobridges, in flight catering and etc. In Luton and Stansted, I had to walk in the cold cold cold weather to the back entrance of the B737 and it was not funny doing so.....Upon arrival in Dublin, it was pouring heavily and we had to walk down the staircase and run into the terminal building, in the cold that is....so I think we wont face that many problems unless it is a heavy downpour with thunder and lightening. No matter what, I think they should have back up plans in instances like that or it will delay the flight and their turnaround will be affected all the way. I flew out of KLIA 2 weeks ago and I managed to look out for the pic that was pointed out by SV and I think that is the LCC of KLIA. It is kind of far from the MTB and Satellite terminal, unless they have buses going through the taxiways and etc.....are there plans for an aerotrain to the LCC from the MTB and Satellite ? I hope they dont rush the construction and make it a mess just because they want to compete with Changi.....!!!!

Based on some news articles I read, it is noted that SIA is to reintroduce its third daily flight to PER and add a fifth weekly flight to ADL starting this November. Good news for PER but not good news for MH and KUL.

All well said !!! I think the political parties should not be getting themselves involved in the issues of MAS as it does not concern them, be it education wise nor youth politics..... And to think how some people perceive the idea of getting a foreigner into MAS is so amazing !!!!! They don't see the logic of getting some foreigner inside, they think it is a threat to the community or race, wherelse the point is to learn and gain from them and not a matter of the race of the person selected !!!!!!! I hope MAS gets back on track, they were just beginning to!!!!!

I think at one point they owned part of NZ and have since given it up. On VS, I think SQ will not allow them to fly directly into SIN to compete with themselves but perhaps a flight into KUL enroute to the land down under is possible. Does anyone know if VS used to fly in their own aircraft into Subang those days ? What aircraft ?

The press release about their losses mentioned that they may review the plans to get new aircrafts at the moment.....

I guess MAB can woo VS to start flights to KUL now that there is a hype about wooing more airlines into KLIA.

How sad that they have all stopped flying into KUA. I am flying into KUA tomm and I am really excited although I know I can only see the aircraft I am flying in with besides the military ones....

Yes it was mentioned sometime ago in the local news and I was delighted to see that KUL stood out better than SIN, BKK and PEK. Let's hope with this, more airlines will fly into KUL and make the dream of KLIA becoming a hub, come true!!!!!

Too small ??? No place to park then how ? But can KUA runway take a huge aircraft like that ?
