  1. I believe they have a lot of 738s which are under utilized. These sectors can be operated by 738s as they did before pre-covid. Perhaps PEK (PKX) would require 330s. Considering MH is offloading inter borneo flights to FY, this would free up capacity to serve these higher yield routes.
  2. Looking at their past track record with the 787 wayang, I'm not putting much hopes on their 339s.
  3. Whats mind boggling is that smaller airlines who ordered max much later have got their aircraft.
  4. Looks like Raya is going to lose out the SZB advantage in terms of timely movement of cargo.
  5. With the upcoming network, BKI might need 3-4 737s if their north asia entry is going to materialize.
  6. Insiders say MAS have been cash positive for nearly 2yrs without drawing funds from Khanazah's guaranteed injections.
  7. From FR24, MH is already operating daily if not double daily to SUB on certain days. I'm guessing its restrictions to add more frequency. If thats the case, MAVCOM should retaliate to restrict Malindo from being given more flights. Govt should practice bilateral approval. It now appears like MH being the "anak tiri", or even AK for that matter.
  8. Sometimes they are not really cheap to begin with. Like a lot of malaysians, whenever they think of travelling locally or within asean, only AK comes to their mind. They wont bother checking other airlines fare. The world of travelling to them is only AK, whenever they are told to check fares of malindo or MH the first thing that comes to their mind is "expensive"
  9. Batik surely has risen from the ashes much quicker compared to AK. MH is regressing with its deteriorating product and lost direction.

    Riyadh Air

Being Saudi based, Riyadh Air might surely be a dry airline with no 🍻 served. This might deter lot of western pax from travelling with them. Asians too.
  11. MH is doing 4-5x daily on the BKK route with A330s at times. Loads should be healthy i guess.
  12. Apparently MH's PEN-SIN run only lasted a few months last year.
  13. Quite the opposite, they still have many on furlough and operating with half month work pattern. Those flying are only working half of what they used to.
  14. Technically, they share the same runway. Runway 15/33 can be used by main terminal operators as well and vice versa KLIA2 using Runway 32L/R 14L/R. So its not a different airport per say. A lot of foreign airports dont have airside connectivity too between terminals. Some are at opposite ends of the airport. Just like how the old LCCT used to operate.
  15. Not what my friends in MAS say, they even got bonus last month.
  16. Not aware of any new restrictions besides closure of lottery outlets due to state govt decision.
  17. Ground crew or Cabin crew/Engineers? Never heard of ME3 and SQ poaching for ground handlers/passenger handling staff.
  18. Who are they? Any names? Curious to know.
  19. Apparently the 2x weekly YIA and PKU flights are Umrah feeder services. Most of the seats are already blocked by agents, hence not much room for commercial sales and media hype.
  20. How does the A330neo decision being unstrategic? Enlighten the community please.
  21. Looks like AirAsia is learning from MH then. Had my flight to SIN changed 3x on AK recently. From 8am departure retimed/changed to 5pm. So AK is not dependable too.
