..funny name though but an interesting flight i must say.flying on props from our loveble SZB airport,i hope they will eventually introduced scheduled flights from SZB,i dont mind flying on prosps but make sure it is the size of an F50 or bigger...

quite long time ago,i recalled a report in Majalah 3 about the safety of Malaysian airports as some of them are in close proximity with peoples' residences and the best part was they featured a Pelangi F50 landing in Ipoh,the runway is very close to the houses it almost looks like the plane is going to land on their roofs

I hope VS will fly to KUL with their "girls" (the a346's Miss Kitty,Covergirls etc) the most beautiful plane for me

I wonder why there were quite a number of airlines from Soviet/Balkan region flew into SZB before??were there many Soviet people in Malaysia during that time?

how about having a regional division of MH just like SQ and Silkair?will that reduce MH's losses,using smaller a/c maybe?just my 2cent...

Sorry guys,when i read from my text book it's actually true,all Malaysian text book will never mention about Singapore being expelled but the word use is "separated" so i got carried away with it!I did my research from various websites and i found a website which stated the facts in detail and now i know the real truth that Singapore's expelled,Azahan's right,i've learned something not just aviaton related but also about the history of our nation in this forum..thanks again guys!

Mas livery sure looks good on 773ER and a345!we should have them!!but i prefer "4 engines 4 long haul"(a340-600) and not to forget the Embraer family for our loss-making domestic routes!

i dont think i've made any false statement by i believe in what i've learned in my History subject of my country Malaysia,ironically i remembered a newspaper report some years back quoting Goh Chok Tong or one of Singaporean minister saying that they might consider rejoining Malaysia?if they have the choice to return to Malaysia,i doubt that they were actually expelled by us at first,RETURN is a choice for those who make their decision freely.

Singapore was thrown out from the Federation,i doubt that's true,with its strategic location as an international port and international trading centre the Federation of Malaysia would never want to let Singapore go easily,I thought there was a referendum carried out to acquire Singaporean's view on whether they should stay or leave the Federation,majority chose to leave.Moreover,don't forget that they erased their history by stating that the early beginning of Singapore started at the time of the acquisition by Stamford Raffles,ever heard of Parameswara in their History text book?NIL!

I love SZB too,so many memories and the best thing about it is it's not a massive airport like KLIA now,we fell much more closer to the planes and runway,remember the design of the international departure hall?directly facing the runway,heaven for spotters i must say!i read an old article from Mastika's earlier edition about MAS's employees on strike in SZB in the 70's ,cant remember what's the cause though.
