you-me-they-all-everyone-worldwide knows where Penang is.. and ppl down south wouldn't even refer singapore city as singapore city, but just plain Singapore. My point here is obvious, name the airport after the PLACE that is most likely to ring bells around the world. and yes i do know that Penang is a state, not a city. take the Singapore example above for example. tq

just retain the original PENANG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT as the name symbolises the City, not the person from the City. naming the airport after P.Ramlee does not mean anything.

Very true. the Brand-New A380 and A330 will not help the carrier in the long run. MAS must start to anaylze and order the B787/A350 soon.

I couldn't agree more. MAS is not creating something fresh here, they are just merely following suit and therefore do not stand out at all. Think outside of the box, my dear national carrier!

Two years ago i bought my Jetstar tix (for 2 pax) from KUL-AKL via SIN in their promotional inaugural flight to New Zealand. The mistake i managed to take advantage (not intended in the first place) was that the Seating allocation fee and Optional meals were somehow not reflected into the final fare. In the end, i only paid RM1350 per pax for a return tix to Auckland!

Wow credits where credits are due, this is such a masterpiece and truly deserves all of it!

honestly i am disgusted to bits. first of all, the rendering showed a much more 'flow-ey' blue stripes with good colour tone whereas the real 1 showed a rougher swip with a mixture of bad colour tones secondly.. just bloody make up ur mind on the logo. (just saw the red top on the WAU on their website..). might as well change everything la

bought my tix for 2 pax at the stated price. BUT guys, just wondering... is there any possibility of the flight not flying at all next year? From what i know, AKL has not approved their landing rights yet.. please advise ppl

i am genuinely quite surprised to see this... even the top dog of the airline industry is starting to feel the pinch..let alone other weaker ones i wonder how is mas going to cope with it...
