  1. I agreed, why not consider other destinations other than KUL? ..Perhaps can consider doing a voting system here?
  2. Surprise to know that MH is cutting on the flight frequencies...my last trip to PVG was more than 95% full, both outbound and inbound.
  3. Hope to see the world's most advance commercial jet, the B787 dreamliner there
  4. Exactly, imagine the large number of passengers on board this beast.
  5. Good news for travellers but bad news for MH
  6. Yup, precisely but certain things can happen overnight to the benefits of certain political party, we all know that.
  7. Unfortunately, the government still interfere MH's management. I don't see the reason that the right and capable person was requested to assist the government with the KPI, which is waste of the RAKYAT's money....until to date, not many concrete improvement made
  8. Well, starting 1/1/2010, good news for Enrich Silver members who can now checked in with the limited counters at KLIA but bad news for LGK.
  9. There's no surprise at all, in Malaysia, politicians are good at empty talk followed by empty promise....the government is currently MH's largest shareholders ...few years back, when MH is in trouble, DATO Idris Jalal was appointed as the CEO, a right and capable person who manage to turnaround the airlines but now he was appointed to assist the PM....sad to say that, this is Malaysia...what can we expect?
  10. Let's not forget A380s will no longer be something new by then and MH will certainly not the only airline to operate the beast in the sky.....again the management stressed that they do not need the B747 and i dont see any reason why they ordered the A380s. It seems like what they said earlier always contradict by the announcement made later. This is MH..no surprise.... MH should owns it's own fleet instead of leasing from PMB. MH has been flying for many years and i don't see that they cant evaluate the the long term benefits of an aircraft before placing an order. I thought the management's future is to have it's own fleet? Like what had been said before....this is Malaysia...bolehland
  11. Well, that reveals that MH does not have a smart management team to evaluate the long term benefits of specific aircraft before placing an order....in my opinion, apart from huge discounts, external influence such as political reason are just probably the reason behind that they ordered the A33E.
  12. Well, I don't understand the management since they are giving up early slots but they claimed that there's a delay by AIRBUS. Again what can i say other than another silly excuse.... seems like the management doesnt even know if they really needs the A380s or not
  13. Having placing the order or A333 is quite similar of having A300B4 (an improved version of the A300s) in the 90s when A330s is obviously a more superior aircraft at that time. Well, MH should evaluate the long term benefits of the A350s and the B787s and not just giving a silly excuse. The management can take advantage of the cancellation orders by some airlines to get an early delivery of such aircraft.
  14. MH can take advantage of the cancellation order from other airlines..it again reveals the poor MH management. So, don't be surprise that MH is unlikely to be as profitable as SQ and CX in the next 20-15 years. What can I say?? This is Malaysia..the boleh land.....
  15. Exactly, MH management is very short sighted, they fail to consider the long term benefits of placing the order on the B787s.
  16. Precisely, i dont think the A333 's technology will last for another 15 years or so.....MH is already in a urgent need to replace the A330s few years back....well, there's are many talks without actions.....now the management are claiming that the delivery slots of the B787 and A350s will not be available for the next few years.....that's the most silly excuse. Placing an order on the A333s will not benefits MH in long term unless MH is aggressive on fleet renewal like SQ. Well well, we had seen increasing European manufactured aircraft in Malaysia, starting with the ATR 72 and now A333.....perhaps anyone here can clarify....
  17. SQ is renowned as one the youngest fleet in the world by all time. MH fails to take into considerations that they are actually operating aircraft for many many years in fact in most cases more than 15 years. I don't think A330E will still be ecologically friendly, fuel efficient by then.....that will most likely be an classical planes by then. MH is not responsive to fleet renewal unlike SQ, CX and etc.. that's d fact. MH need to looks forward and not just 2-5 years or so from now. SQ is very much different in view of the fleet renewal is rather short and quick.
  18. I am very disappointed that MH had come to a conclusion of deciding A330s instead of more advanced and fuel efficient B787s or perhaps the B777LR. It may look like MH's future fleet will be AIRBUS dominated. In my opinion, MH does not need A380s, one of the reason that they chose the beast is probably a matter of pride. I don't see A330s will benefits MH's route in the long term especially MH's next fleet renewal may be 15 years later and A330s will be completely outdated by then. The management is making silly excuse and again it seems like such purchase may be of political reason apart from the discount given by AIRBUS. If you are thinking of better comfort and etc, SQ, CX and TG will certainly be a better choice in the future.
  19. I agreed...I don't see any reason why the management is ordering the A330s given that technology of this birds may be outdated by then. A350s and the B787s shall already flying in the skies by then and A330s shall not make MH fleets looks attractive at all. Most Likely is the huge discount by AIRBUS given the delay of the A380s.....in my opinion B777 will be a perfect choice rather than the A330s
  20. Hope this time they mean it...previous plan to lease the B777 was subsequently cancelled.
  21. With the development of the B787 and with the 1st flight whick marks the significant success of the aviation industry....I hope to see BOEING rules d skies again....
