Super pix from Butterworth, LaurieB! :clapping:

The last time I saw the F-5E in the air, it was still in its shiny aluminum look!

Very nice shots Victor. :clapping: :clapping: Third shot for me as well.

Saw the special tail F/A 18 off the beach here at Batu Ferringhi yesterday afternoon. Too far away for a decent photo though. Seems to have "70" on the fins.

Nice catch of the F-5E Laurie! As for the special scheme RAAF Hornet, A21-38 is in the special scheme for 75 Sqn's 70th Anniversary. More info here, including hi-res version of the photo below.

Still remember the roar more than a decade ago when I was still in Tawau.

The last time I saw one on newspaper was without an engine...:p

Thanks for the comments guys. Much appreciated.

Michael Y, Thanks for the link to the special scheme. I wondered if it might be tied in with the squadron's 70th anniversary. Also bookmarked your blog to read through. :good:

Has anyone got the Wedgie (A30-04) yet ? :pardon:

saw Wedgie took off yesterday but too far to have a shot at it. Wedgetail will be high on my priority list for the next few coming days... B)

there was a PC-7 on approach ahead of the 208, before the Fennec followed suit on 18th Oct. The Wedgetail were already parked by.

Wedgie departed to Darwin today. I guess the Hornets and King Air will be leaving this weekend.
