Was informed that Exercise Bersama Padu 2010 will kick off this Sunday. Possibly a RAAF C-17, nine F/A-18 & a C-130 will be arriving BWH probably today or tomorrow.

My first posting on this forum having only recently joined.

Saw 4 F/A 18s with what looked to be long range tanks over the Batu Ferringhi area earlier this afternoon. Managed to snap the last before he disappeared behind my building. Sorry for the poor image quality.

Good catch, Laurie! :good: Hrmm..looks like a F/A-18A,could be a RAAF. Have a look out for RAF jets too, hope that they send their Panavia Tornados again for this year's exercise ;)

MIR, thanks. Tornados would be nice. Will have to keep the eyes open over the next few weeks.

I see on another forum that the RAAF's first A330 tanker is scheduled for delivery within the next few weeks. Would be a nice catch if that comes through here.

No 3 Squadron F/A-18 Hornets form up on their way to Malaysia for Exercise Bersama Padu 2010.

Hornets flying just off the coast of Tanjung Bungah. Eight Hornets from downunder are taking part in this year's exercise including a special blue-tailed Hornet(A21-13) from 3SQN Williamtown. Its specially painted to commemorate the squadron's 90th anniversary in 2006.

Caught this formation of four F18s from Butterworth out of the window of my apartment at Batu Ferrighi yesterday afternoon. There was a fifth F18 about 200 yds behind the formation. Maybe acting as camera ship?

There will be an Ex Bersama Padu closing ceremony this Friday from 0830-1400..hope there'll be some fly-pasts on that day. The C-17 might be returning back to BWH/PEN this weekend to pick-up their ground vehicles, equipments etc.

In most countries, retired PM is a civilian; don’t have privilege to use gomen’s facility. However, if they are appointed to company, they will use the company’s facility as per contract.

FYI, the ex-pm still can use the gomen facilities only for official task that given by gomen but it limited.

Like Tun Dr M and Tun Abdullah, after they retired the only have 2 bodyguard and etc. TQ

same like 'skim pencen', u will receive the salary after retired but half saja laa..

Same like PM, after retired, the benefit will be limited.
