Twin Tower also 2nd, now KLIA tower also 2nd.. 9592[/snapback] Well, look at it this way, our Petronas Twin Tower is still the tallest 'twin' in the world. In terms of office building it was over taken by Taipei 101. Let's face it, everyone in the world have hunger for tallest (biggest) this and that. Come to think of it....maybe one day someone will come up with something so tall we can just take the elevator to space?
Sandeep G 1 Report post Posted October 9, 2005 I believe KLIA will have the largest Hangar in the world still... the present MAS hangar I believe is presently the worlds largest, and the new A380 complex is set to be even bigger

Taipei 101 is actually designed by a ex-pat Chinese Malaysian, who has emigrated to Taiwan and became a citizen a few decades ago. He is an architect in Taiwan. His name is Lee.... (can't remember). Currently KLIA tower is ranked 2nd and 3rd in the world concurrently. As one tower will always be slightly taller. Chicago's Sears Tower ranked 4th place now. Expect another tower which looks like a handbag to over take Taipei 101 from Shanghai a few years from now. Ground work has already begun in Shanghai Edited October 9, 2005 by S V Choong
