Well, look at it this way, our Petronas Twin Tower is still the tallest 'twin' in the world. In terms of office building it was over taken by Taipei 101. dry.gif

Let's face it, everyone in the world have hunger for tallest (biggest) this and that. wink.gif

Come to think of it....maybe one day someone will come up with something so tall we can just take the elevator to space? tongue.gif

I believe KLIA will have the largest Hangar in the world still... the present MAS hangar I believe is presently the worlds largest, and the new A380 complex is set to be even bigger smile.gif

Just a little side track here and to make Malaysians feel good. Taipei 101 is actually designed by a ex-pat Chinese Malaysian, who has emigrated to Taiwan and became a citizen a few decades ago. He is an architect in Taiwan. His name is Lee.... (can't remember).

Currently KLIA tower is ranked 2nd and 3rd in the world concurrently. As one tower will always be slightly taller. Chicago's Sears Tower ranked 4th place now.

Expect another tower which looks like a handbag to over take Taipei 101 from Shanghai a few years from now. Ground work has already begun in Shanghai

I think either Melbourne or Dubai is also building a skyscraper that will be world's tallest, higher than Taipei's.

Burj Dubai will, when completed, be the tallest freestanding tower in the world. biggrin.gif
