Loh Wilson, the guy was not standing right in front but a safe distance away. Pieter, I was told June is a better time to spot. Sure you will get a lot of kangaroos. kianhong 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2008 SQ Cargo sending early Xmas gifts ah ? Kianhong, you got your "L" early gift already ? Nah... SQ Cargo was carrying 90t non-hazard chemical into PER and picking some smaller general cargo out tonite. Still waiting for Santa to bring my X'mas 'gift'. Anyway, I was standing much closer to the rwy21 center line on top those mounds. Here's some collateral catches while waiting for SQ Cargo. Emirates sent A343 today. Brazilian Virgin. Tiny silver bullet. "Maitland" Casair Metro. Thanks for viewing.

kianhong 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2008 Today late afternoon was extremely busy. At one time there were 3 aircrafts on final. Lotsa chartered aircrafts seen within my short 2.5 hours spotting. Here's some of them. Enjoy! BAE Avro 146 Short (-100) Medium (-200) Long (-300) Dash-8 First time seeing these Maroombas flying, got them back to back too. Lucky! Beechcraft 1900D Metro Fairchild Last but not least, Jetstar bad nose job. An odd one that I some how forget to put in the previous post. Thanks for viewing. That's all. Cheers. kianhong 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 What happen to its tail..?? btw..super clear weather... Air/Speed brake deployed. Quite funny looking when you see the back just split open like that. Fokker 100 also employ the same mechanism to dump lift/slow down.

Chaity 1 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 Cheers mate! Did you manage to shoot the RAAF BBJ before your departure that day? Kian, Wah!! You've got everything..FANTASTIC !! . Looks like Emirates is starting to give surprises as Christmas approaches. hohoho... Thanks for sharing mate Kianhong, nice photos and all sharp, sharp ones. MIR, I did get the RAAF BBJ front shots and some side shots. Too bad heat haze was making the BBJ to become a porcupine. I will check if I can edit any "better" looking ones later. Chaity 1 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 RAAF BBJ was parked in the open tarmac when I checked in for my flight back to KUL. Pushed back and departed 20 mins before my flight home. Too many aircraft around blocking to get a full shot. PER is sure busy in the evening for international flights.
MIR 2 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 Nice catch of the RAAF BBJ, Chaity !! Didn't know it was coming that day, what a surprise...
kianhong 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 Good catch of the 001. I still haven't got a photo of this one. Got 002 only. These RAAF BBJs are quite regular in PER, I just can't seem to catch them in the right time or right place. <_ call sign used is>
