kianhong 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2007 Sharing some spotting photos taken while on a short trip down to Singapore. Thought that it would be more appropriate to put this under Anjung Tinjau since most are a/c photos from KUL n SIN. KUL > SIN > KUL (13-16 Mac 2007) 13 MAR 2007 KUL > SIN SQ117 B772ER 1850 1945 16 MAR 2007 SIN > KUL SQ116 B772ER 1700 1755 Some photos before boarding, taken at Level 3 Observation Deck near gate C27. Papa Echo being towed back to terminal. Oscar Hotel accross the runway, while construction continue at C27. <_> Papa Kilo look sick. My plane - Romeo Golf arrive an hour before my departure time. While walking to my gate, more shots of Papa Echo. Not forgetting Kilo Echo which parked right at gate C27. To be continued ...

kianhong 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2007 (edited) My plane - Romeo Golf operated as SQ117 to SIN T2. Nose RR Trent 892. This Japang 767 parked next to my plane... must be landed while I was walking to my gate. <_> Destination ... "SIN JIA PO" While in Singapore, manage to hang out with frens and Cookies Monster. Some nicely restored shop houses near my hotel. To be continued... Edited March 22, 2007 by kianhong

kianhong 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2007 Thanks SAM... On my way back... When you look at the tarmac of Changi Terminal 2, you will notice that this is a land of Boeing 777. Semuanya ada... SQ is the world largest operator of B777, current 65 in fleet. Man vs Machine Tail More Golden Bird tails... Panorama of SQ Jumbo - Papa Hotel
kianhong 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2007 You can also see a different kind of bird at Changi's T2. Push back... Engine Started n ready to go... Look!!! Who's here lifting off from Runway 02R. Ehh... mandarin orange. Opps... Mandarine Airlines. This A343 was formerly in China Airline paint. Then, I walked all the way to other side of contact pier just to get the shot below. Cold empty lounge with the huge jumbo behind. Suddenly, saw this fella push back. Going to Newark, perhaps? First time for me to see a A345. Prior to my plane push back, they switched runway to 20L. And I crossed path with this SQ B773 - Yankee Delta. Didn't manage to catch any B77W though.
