Sandeep G 1 Report post Posted October 13, 2006 This new livery looks better for me well its definately a very modern design, but still, those titles could be much bigger and more attractive
Andrew Ong 1 Report post Posted October 15, 2006 (edited) Why? Has Asiana served Malaysia? Maybe I'm not aware of that. But as far as I remember, KE flies in around evening time, no? Asiana served Malaysia, at Kota Kinabalu, using an A321. Edited October 15, 2006 by Andrew Ong
Sandeep G 1 Report post Posted October 16, 2006 Asiana served Malaysia, at Kota Kinabalu, using an A321. I'm sure they have consiered operating the KUL sector.. perhaps marketing themselves as an alternative to the USA would bo good.. I would prefer LAX via ICN than TPE. Andrew Ong 1 Report post Posted October 20, 2006 I know that the topic is already being discussed , but I was looking through JetPhotos.Net and found this: Asiana's newest A320 (F-WWIM; going to be HL7753) is the very first aircraft in the whole Asiana fleet to be painted in this new and sweet livery : http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=5838702 Comments on this aircraft are welcomed

LeeCH 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2006 Like the Thai liveries, I still prefer the older ones. Maybe its just me getting older these days. I was at ICN over the past week and I have fond memories of coffee and sky blue planes now.

Sandeep G 1 Report post Posted October 31, 2006 Well, a new livery for the fleet ain't cheap, but here's a quick update on how Asiana is doing financially nowadays compared to the same period last year. Net Profit Quarterly period ended 30-Sep-05: (KRW52,200 Million) Net Profit Quarterly period ended 30-Sep-06: KRW43,600 Million So Asiana is on the financial turnaround from some less than average performance last year. Hence the little rewarding spending spree, perhaps? Livery looks good on that Airbus and 777!

Syaz 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2006 The sharp triangle = the "A" in Asiana. This logo was shown in ads in far east since 1 year ago. The yellow, blue and red colors are often seen in Korean traditional costume, silk fan and logo. They symbolize harmony/balance (similar to tao symbol). I would have preferred them to use the color swirl (instead of "A"/triangle shape, which is too sharp). The base color is silver (pearlscene, similar to NWA, JetstarAsia, VS). cool~ btw, NWA? as in, Nashawn Wade Airlines in Soul Plane?
