Tony 1 Report post Posted September 5, 2006 seriously? impressive.. yea2 the wake turbulence musthv been 'impressive' too.. eheh In Australia, CASA is claiming that the wake separation behind the A380 should be 10nm, but Airbus is not happy with that decision (obviously). Airbus is claiming that it could do with an 8nm separation at most. Heard that the manufacturer will be doing proving flights and submitting experimental and observational figures to CASA, but don't know exactly when and whether a decision has been made to change the 10nm requirement.
