flee 5 Report post Posted July 2, 2012 MalaysianWings 7th Anniversary - 30 June 2012 @ Bangkok International Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) This year, we celebrated the MW anniversary in Bangkok. Unfortunately, due to a typhoon system out in Hong Kong and Japan, the weather was not terribly good. There were sunny spells but there were also stormy ones. We got our cameras out, nevertheless! Since cargo aircraft seldom get the limelight, I shall start off the Anniversary Shoot with them. They arrived early - so we shot them before going for breakfast! For the anniversary "report", please go to: http://www.malaysian...180#entry308173 B-LDG Air Hong Kong Airbus A300F4-605R B-18706 China Airlines Boeing 747-409F HZ-ANC Saudi Arabian Airlines McDonnell Douglas MD-11F HL7482 Korean Air Lines Boeing 747-4B5(BCF) Really nice livery and I am looking forward to seeing their B747-8F soon! Waiping 12 Report post Posted July 2, 2012 The amount of cargo flight is really crazy, even on Sundays. All cargo flights seem to have a turnaround time of 2 hours or less.
flee 5 Report post Posted July 2, 2012 The amount of cargo flight is really crazy, even on Sundays. All cargo flights seem to have a turnaround time of 2 hours or less. Yes, Thailand has a thriving export driven economy - so I would not be surprised if cargo volumes are huge. Our last cargo plane on Saturday's session was this N720FD Federal Express (FedEx) Airbus A300B4-622(F) which came in when the rain was quite heavy. Another look at the A332F's nosegear

Waiping 12 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 (edited) We woke up early to catch this. However it's too early and the lighting condition is not so ideal for photo taking yet. Edited July 3, 2012 by Waiping

flee 5 Report post Posted July 4, 2012 Looks like someone chucked a bucketful of blue paint at this guy! XY-AGI Myanmar Airways International Airbus A320-231 This almost 29 year old ex-JAL plane had a rather more attractive tail before. Don't know why it is now white. HS-UTW Orient Thai Airlines Boeing 747-346 HS-TGP Thai Airways International Boeing 747-4D7 - the "Retro" special paint scheme. Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted July 6, 2012 Great shot of Quebec-Hotel, thanks a lot for sharing here: my seat to AMS was on this side of the plane too, the last 3rd and 4th window from the rear were 'mine' for the next 10.5 hours Seated here is quite spectecular on rotation, I should say !!! Thanks! So you were spotting right till the end of the trip! Although we did not get blue skies, we got quite a few blue liveries, including Quebec-Hotel. Here is another - VT-IEP IndiGo Airbus A320-232 And many of us thought that this blue livery looked a bit familiar!
