KUL 32L 2019

Recommended Posts

Thank you Azahan for opening this thread and sharing those lovely photos.

Most of the seniors here are mostly in semi retirement from plane spotting or posting here. :pardon:

Here are some "new" staff for KUL recently

EY is using B789 now

Hahahahaha Chaity. Yup, most Mwings' old folks are semi-retired. Took a while to even climb to the top of the small ladder that day.

Check out the photos in this thread - how many are still active?

I believe most people post on their own Facebook and Instagram nowadays. Forums are old skool! :)

Thanks for sharing, Azahan and Chaity - I am old skool too! Hahahahaha!

I never had a chance to join the annual gathering! Hehe

Azahan, you stayed until the last light !

Thanks Flee for digging out the old thread. I had some fun time reading and seeing the photos. A lot of jokers in Mwings.

Adding some old skool shots again

Nice looking aircraft

Like going back in time seeing all old MH colors in one frame

nice findout there~! :D

glad i'm still here after nearly 11years with some other pioneer spotters.

facebook and IG is way more attractive as they do not need tighten up to the rules and regulation, while in the forum like us, there's always need to be more behave. :acute:

as refer to Post38 in the same pinned thread, indeed TF hired few of them in the frame, LeeTZ, Adrian M, Walter and maybe more. :drinks:

Never mind the slow climb on the ladder :) The shots from all the taikos here are superb as always ! I truly enjoy them :good:

Hehehe, yes all these thowbacks always bring back fond memories for the participants!

Old skool forums have a big advantage - searching for posts is easier because we have threads. :)

Move along a few more years and some of these people are still spotting, albeit with a bit more bulk added to their frames! Its not only the aircraft frames that have become whales!

Prefer the old F1 A346! Thanks for sharing, KS.

ÇI Captain looks to be in a hurry to "pasang" reverse thrust!

Actually, it bounced when the reverser was applied.

Sometimes, a delayed Condor arrival in the morning makes one happy. What more if its a Retro. You wake up even earlier to catch it.

A joy to see this nocturnal Kim-Chi arrived in the afternoon.

With the withdrawal of SilkAir's Max8 fleet, great to see SQ deploying their new toys to KUL over the morning weekend.

For a change, Iraqi sent their A332 instead of their B77L.

EK have many special liveries but they don't come to KUL often. So catch them at the first opportunity or you may need to wait for some time before they return.

For those who wonder what photo ops are from the new Anjung Spotter, here is an example
