affendi osman 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2012 (edited) Go see the awesome Philippine (monkey-eating) Eagle in Davao! Monkey eating? For real? Scary though...... generally measures 86 to 102 cm (2 ft 10 in to 3 ft 4 in) in length and weighs 4.7 to 8 kilograms (10 to 18 lb). Among the rarest, largest, and most powerful birds in the world, it has been declared the Philippine national bird. flee 5 Report post Posted September 11, 2012 KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 11 (Bernama) -- Low-cost airline, AirAsia is strengthening its route network and connectivity in the world's most populated country, China, with its newest route from Kuala Lumpur to Nanning. The airline is offering a special all-in-fare from as low as RM99, one way in conjunction with the announcement of the new route and is available for booking from tomorrow until Sept 16. In a statement here Tuesday, it said the route is the only direct flight available from KL to Nanning and will commence operations with three times weekly flights from Dec 11, 2012. The route will complement the AirAsia Group's network connectivity from Asean to China, especially with the recent announcement of Bangkok to Wuhan flights operated by Thai AirAsia. "KL-Nanning will be AirAsia Group's 22nd route to China," it said.

BC Tam 2 Report post Posted October 2, 2012 I think the article meant KUL - KCH is 16 times weekly. Cannot be lah, that is like only two flights daily with two days in the week having a third one That may have been MH's schedule of many decades ago ! Kelson 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2012 I think the article meant KUL - KCH is 16 times weekly. Or rather 16 flights daily? Currently there are already 12 flights daily. And by increasing the frequency on those four days that will make 16 flights daily?

flee 5 Report post Posted October 3, 2012 I think that these extra KUL-KCH flights are only for a limited period, from December 1, 2012 to February 5, 2013. The Bernama report is not very clear.
Isaac 0 Report post Posted October 3, 2012 (edited) Or rather 16 flights daily? Currently there are already 12 flights daily. And by increasing the frequency on those four days that will make 16 flights daily? I seem to remember that there were 14 flights a day each way just a few months ago. Did they reduce any flight to KCH recently ? Edited October 3, 2012 by Isaac
flee 5 Report post Posted October 3, 2012 Did a check on AirAsia booking engine. Monday's list of flights KUL-KCH (TTL = 13): Wednesday's list of flights KCH-KUL (TTL=12): The flight count was the same in the opposite travel directions. So it would appear that on 4 days a week, there is one additional flight.
