Recommended Posts

This my first time I saw this N4550B,Bombardier BD-700-1A11 Global 5000 at SZB,yesterday afternoon...

DSC_9568.jpg

Hi MDsaleh, it is in fact N445DB, not 0.

As you were there on the 8th, did you see any GLF5s parked? I'm wanting to know the reg of JPT552 that departed to Anchorage, acc to flightaware at 1449z, so that would 2249 local I guess (obviously dark). Anything seen through the day? Also don't know who JPT is either. Was once Jupiter-Avia of Armenia, but that company no longer exists so must be a new company using that identifier. Thanks!

M71-01 Bombardier CL215/CL415

Malaysian Flag is bigger on top Rudder.

Maritim Malaysia wording in one line instead of 2 (Top , bottom)

Bombardier Decal now on the Lower rudder.

Larger rego, and a weather radar (black mole on the nose)

Small unpainted outlet above the word (MALAYSIA) above the letter "L" and "A"

Some extra round long tube above emergency exit.

Extra antenna VHF at the back and GPS antenna at forward top fuselage.

I should have wait when it turn the other way....back lit!

She did compass swing at "KILO" runway 15.

Sorry for back lit, i was so happy to see her again.

Thanks TK. There also appears to be another 'bubble' type observation window just behind No. 2 prop.

Last I heard was that these aircraft were not being used. Are they being brought back into service?

I remember last time they were grounded due to insufficient fund to keep them flying. They weren't even on display during LIMA.

This morning M71-01 did another compass swing at "KILO" far end of runway 15.

As i mentioned earlier, this aircraft may have done some modifications.

LaurieB was correct with an extra bubble window on the blue stripe above the maritime insignia.

Now M71-01 looks exactly like M71-02. except this long tube on starboard side (Right) aft fuselage above the word "MARITIM MALAYSIA"

Saturday normally is not a good day for spotting.

But today, i guess i was lucky. Maybe because it is my wife's birthday!!! ha ha ha

PK-YVS

Not a foreign plane in Subang actually.

ex Malaysia Airlines 9M-MQH cn 27352 ln 2624

ex Nok Air HS-DDJ, blue peacock scheme..

Now Batavia since 2008.

26May12_PK-YVS_8700mw.jpg

26May12_PK-YVS_8720mw.jpg

Subang ATC directed this Batavia to taxi to Malaysia Airlines MRO hangar 2....

As they reach there, Batavia Pilot told ATC that no one is expecting them...meaning no engineering to guide them...

After 15 minutes, ATC told Batavia to make 180 degree...taxi out to main taxiway and proceed to AIROD....ha ha ha...

Ah yes, finally this bird found its proper "Nest"...

26May12_PK-YVS_8734mw.jpg

For the past week, i was waiting for the other Batavia to go....then today, i have one arrive.

I can't see what is the rego of the white Batavia....

Anybody from AIROD can share some info...??

Subang this morning, Angkasa did some practice flypast....

while having lunch, 2 CN-235 made a low fly past over the runway.

I guess...we have to be ready for something....

I believe these modifications were done back in 2010 by Bombardier. M71-01 went back to Canada after LIMA2009 and was delivered back to Malaysia in December 2010. A picture here M71-01 shows it at Manchester on its second delivery flight.

The rear port side cabin door has also been enlarged.

TK, looking at the second photo in your sequence, the tube also seems to appear in the same position on the port side. I think it is part of the side-looking airborne radar system.

Have just checked my photos from LIMA09. They show the same system fitted to M71-02.

Very nice photos again. Must get down to Subang sometime.

Laurie, I think what TK meant was the 'pipe' installed just above the wording "MARATIM MALAYSIA" on starboard,

but not on port side.

Hi LaurieB,

The tube that i am talking about is the thin one above the word Maritim Malaysia.

I guess this is an overflow tube, in case if the water in the tanks are just above the normal line...

Maybe during turning and turbulence, water may just shakes all over the tank...he he he...

someone can share some points...

Subang,

Come down and visit Subang with pure luck...

The long wait is the killer,,,,
