Kelvin B 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2006 Hi Gavin, Did not know they were going to be there, and also belum kenal lagi lah. Some more, we did not know where "there" was? Never been there before marr. So when we saw the sign saying pusat kajicuaca (or something like that), we stopped the car and started snapping lah. Later on (about 3 hours later) we saw another car come up, and stop and stare for a while, and then they went on another 50 meters before turning into the kajicuaca spotting place. Only after that did we realize we were in the wrong place. But in the end, it was ok also lah. When we finished, we went up the road and said hello to TK and his 2 friends with their big cameras. Yup.. the tree really save our skin that day... TK was right, its crazy for us to go spotting without UMBRELLA... but at least we have our lil caps on rite... My photo's will come shortly.. so I am asking permission to tumpang thread after i am done cropping and uploading them into the pixbucket.. Your photo's are wonderful i must say.. so ur guide is good after all.. if the REGO's clear.. the PIX is too.. haha.. good one... TK 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2006 Kelvin and Ignatius...sorry for the hot sun..we had only 3 umbrellas... I know, you guys for a start...try park near the weather station, then walk somewhere near the weather station fence. Dont stand too close to the road...I met 3 hungarian spotter at observation deck at the terminal... POLICE took them to the station...got few questions for an hour!!!!! SO please to everyone...dont just display yourself too close to the road. I dont like the sound of visiting the police station. Try and stand somewhere you dont see the road and people dont see you unless the plane is coming. So spot...plane come...take a picture and turn back. we know Malaysia is HOT...think about it...bring an umbrella. get a teh tarik stool...its so cheap. Sit down and relax with an umbrella. please dont throw rubish anywhere...like mineral bottles and so on. im trying to advice everyone...KLIA is not ours...its for everyone to go and enjoy spotting.
